I mean how can this guy even get close to any poorly skilled striker? when my friend found the ad on his car on thursday he was just like oh another lame MMA fight because he didn't look too close but then i noticed the guy had no arms and we were like "what the fuck...". we spent quite a while speculating on how he could possibly fight a guy with arms. we were even more confused that the advertisement called him a "grappling veteran"... when the guy had NO ARMS. I pocketed the advertisement and I brought it up later in a conversation as one of those what-the-fuck things and then I was like wait a fucking minute is it just like a badly edited / cut off picture or DOES HE HAVE NO LEGS? My friends thought I was crazy. I NOW KNOW THAT I AM NOT. seriously though WTF? WHAT THE FUCK? | ||

he said so himself afterwards that once the fight started he realized the cold truth that he couldnt do much because the reach difference is so huge =( respect to him though for giving it the best fuckin shot he could. and also props to the other fighter for not being a dick and fought mannered. | ||

Rules 14-16 but he himself has to abide by rule #1 (no head butts). PS- what's up with rule 31, You can't throw in the towel to stop the fight from your corner? | ||

His opponent has stated his mom works with handicapped people and he wanted to give Kyle Maynard the opportunity to show handicapped people that anythings possible. Major respect to both of them. It's a freak show and I am engrossed watching a handicapped person getting his ass kicked. But that's not his fault. He should be able to live the life he wants to his full enjoyment. | ||

In wrestling, you cant strike a person, you try to incapacitate them, therefore people have to get on the ground with him. However the guy has no limbs you can use to gain control over him, and all his weight is centered in 1 area. He might weigh the same as his opponent, but his muscle mass is going to be a lot higher. Now obviously its still going to be hard to him to pin opponents , but he has at least a fighting chance. In MMA, your opponent doesnt have to get on the ground with you. He can just stand there and throw punches at you. So unless his opponent trips over, its going to be impossible for him to win. | ||
