Samuli 'elfi' Sihvonen, the Finnish Protoss who until December, enjoyed a personal sponsorship from ASUS ROG, and previously played for Team Acer, has joined the brand new Finnish organisation, ENCE eSports, as their sole SC2 player.
Elfi is mostly known for for his second place at
IEM Season VI - Global Challenge Guangzhou in late 2011. He will be attempting to qualify for the Premier Division of WCS Europe in the coming days.From Liquipedia:
Ence stands for Enceladus, one of the giants in Greek Mythology, as well as one of the moons of Saturnus. They use the motto "Ever to excel", to do better than others, which is fundamentally what Ence strives: to become a role-model in the Finnish eSports scene.
Coincidentally, it is the second Nordic team to be founded this week, hosting just one Nordic player who happens to play Protoss.
