AZUBU Korea announced that it has joined eSports Federation (eSF) on January 12th.
AZUBU, who recently established its StarCraft 2 team, will soon begin their campaign in the Heart of the Swarm GSTL preseason. By joining eSF, AZUBU will be able to manage its team as they prepare to start their main activities for 2013 GSTL.
Team representative Mr. Shin Jae Hak commented about joining eSF, saying, “We are very happy to join eSF. We will dedicate ourselves to build a strong e-sports culture with fellow eSF teams, and will try our best to become the best gaming team out there.”
StarCraft 2 team manager Mr. Kim Jung Gon added, “We expect to create many partnerships with various teams in Korea. We wish to lead the ‘eSports Hallyu’ with them.” AZUBU SC2′s head manager Lim said, “We believe eSF and AZUBU can do many things together. We expect nothing but a win-win scenario from this.”
AZUBU is an e-sports focused corporation that just recently established its premiere StarCraft 2 team led by manager Lim, coach Byun, and manager Lee, and consisting of twelve players including Genius, Bbong, Symbol, SuperNoVa and Eve.
“We welcome AZUBU joining eSF,” the federation proclaimed, “and we will provide relentless administrative support to players for GSTL and foreign tournament participation.”
With the addition of AZUBU to the lineup of current eSF teams (FXOpen, StarTale, MVP, Prime, NSH, LG-IM), the number of teams part of the federation is now seven. As a member of eSF, AZUBU will participate in IPL seed selection for eSF and GSTL preseason.
