MVP will win because they are better in team leagues.

IMO the two best teams (unless Life can dominate team leagues and Gumiho/Leenock keep winning) but the difference is MVP does well in team leagues and IM does not and DRG and Sniper are better than any player IM has.

IM is the most successful team in the IPL Team leagues, winning both IPL TAC (1 and 3) that they participated in, as well as getting 2nd in the last IPTL. And to be fair, IM has just as many GSTL titles as MVP does.

So anyone know the stats on what has to happen here for liquid to advance in second place from this group?
I root for Euro Zergs, NA Protoss* and Korean Terrans. (Any North American who has beat a Korean Pro as Protoss counts as NA Toss)

that is very true, but i think most would say IM should have more. Nobody has really ever had the Star power that IM has/had until Parting, Squirtle and Life came along for Startale, but now thats dead.

Liquid should hope for IM 5-0 and then for IM to 5-0 Karont3 and then to beat MVP.

I don't know exact stats, but here is a rough picture: LG-IM has to beat MVP and Karont3 and Liquid hhas to beat MVP. If every of these victories is around 5-2 for the winning team, then Liquid should advance.

like both teams but cant root against LG-IM, their coach is just way too kind.

If MC gets to play I see him taking out at least Sniper, based on current GSL results.
Not sure about DRG though

also dat NesTea, Mvp, MC, LosirA, YongHwa OP lineup

And you even left out First and Yoda. IM has too many solid players. I'd like to see them participate in PL or something, and really show EG TL how it's done.

I didnt recognize MC is playing IPTL too when i made that comment, but i still dont think IM can bring down DRG and Sniper both.

Lg-IM won IPL TAC 3 against TL(Taeja) though.

This is pretty much the "who will take first in Group B" match, so I expect to see some pretty big players coming out for both sides. I hope MC plays.

I wonder if Mvp will come out to all-kill today. Either way, I hope LG-IM takes this. YongHwa 5-0 would be nice too.

Go LG-IM! Go Mvp! :D

Galaxy from MVP intresting but I doubt he can do anything vs YongHwa. Anyway I want ST vs IM finals that is why IM must win.

YongHwa plays standard... People that don't watch NASL don't know about Galaxy, but he's the furthest thing from standard play at the highest level...

Should be interesting, though.

Well... No.
DRG is a great player no doubt about that! But I dont think that he is strong enough to take out everybody IM throws at him. And Sniper, well he´s my new Jijakji.
Im not saying that MVP could not win or anything, but saying that DRG and Sniper are better than the whole IM lineup is just... not true.
Should be close though, sth like 5-4 / 5-3 for LG-IM.
