New Gamespot UK article on Dignitas picking up J REcco, we also asked the Dignitas manager ODEE if they were looking to pick up anyone new.
Jonny REcco's potential has long been clear to the UK StarCraft II scene, but this was the first time the 16-year-old Zerg player demonstrated his skill to the wider StarCraft II community. Now REcco has been added to the roster of Team Dignitas, the UK's biggest team of pro-gamers.
On the team's recent acquisition, Team Dignitas manager Michael 'ODEE' O'Dell told us Dignitas had been looking to add a Zerg with world-class potential to its line-up because it previously only had Chile-based KiLLeR. As a UK team, says O'Dell, Dignitas is always interested in UK players.

I guess the most relevant part pertaining to NaNiwa would be this here:
O'Dell also confirmed Dignitas is looking to contract NaNiwa, formerly of both Dignitas and American squad Quantic, to its roster. This would be a big pick-up for the UK team as its current roster lacks a top-end tournament winner--something NaNiwa would add to the group.

Yeah, interesting development. Doubt whether NaNiwa would be interested about joining Dignitas though.

While that's correct the question does rise where he would train in Korea. Assuming that he loses his spot in the Startale house considering he is no longer part of them (or Quantic) that would leave the GOM house or maybe the House of Awesome as his options.
That was the reason I assumed that he wanted to join a team that is more connected in Korea then Dignitas is.

I guess both parties are at different places than last time.

I think its possible for him to live in the Gom house, remember, he is friendly with a lot of the Startale players, and probably several others, so he would still have practice partners. Not sure if there are any other issues other than practice partners for being in the Gom house though.

I actually think he would be able to stay at Startale anyway...mainly because he stood there before the partnership as well and they didn't mind him when he wasn't "so good"...wouldn't see a reason they would see him as a burden now!

I would like to see NaNi back on Dignitas, and if I understood him right in the real talk so would he. The issue is as dignitas connection to Korea. He has clearly stated that he wouldn't go back to Startale so the most likely alternatives are the GOMhouse or getting his own place I think. He got praticepartners in Startale so that isn't an issue.
Good pickup with Recco, great potential in this one.

SeleCT and SjoW stayed in the FXO house when they were in Korea and played in Code-A. Maybe Dignitas could work out something for Naniwa too. (As far as I remember Choya was pretty vocal about that probe rush thing, but no idea if there is any tension between him and Naniwa)

Well Khaldor who he's good friends with is mostly incharge of who comes into the GOM house iirc.

Select also dignitas was spending quite a long time in the fxo team house, which is a possibility

Glad to see the confirmation about NaNiwa possibly returning to Dignitas.

Nani made it quite clear in his Real Talk that he wouldn't be going back to the Startale house, and that he's experienced enough with the training regimen and has enough contacts in Korea now that he could live on his own now.
