Hello everyone! This is the official thread for the first online qualifier for IGN Pro League Team Arena Challenge 3! Here are some relevant links if you don't already know about IPL TAC3:

Only the top 2 teams will qualify for the main tournament!

The Format!
These matches are bo9 Winners Format! Teams will need to be online and ready to play at 10:00 PDT (17:00 GMT (+00:00)) on Saturday, April 14th. Please be aware that these qualifiers can and will take a lot of time. Forfeits and walkovers will be used if needed. If the finals are significantly delayed and both teams agree to play later, scheduling will be done after the semi-finals conclude. Only team managers or tournament admins may spectate matches.
Broadcast Schedule
Our casts of these Qualifiers will begin on Thursday, April 19th at 5 p.m. PDT (00:00 GMT (+00:00)) each day and will be re-broadcast at 9:30 a.m. PDT (16:30 GMT (+00:00)) the following days.

*All of our maps can be found easily by searching "IPLMap" when creating a game on NA. The first map will be determined by IPL (ro16: Atlantis Spaceship, ro8: Antiga Shipyard, ro4: Metropolis, Finals: Daybreak) and the first players for each team must be submitted to an IPL admin before the match begins.
Casters
These TAC3 qualifier games will be commentated by our in-house IGN Pro League casting team of CatsPajamas and Doa!

Liquipedia says that karont3 only has 3 players (Lucifron, vortix and lolvsxd) how can they participate in the tournament?

Well obviously lucifron will destroy this tournament but for the sake of formalities don't they need 5 players to play a BO9?

Are all games going to be streamed?
If so, I think Alternate-Type II to make it from the top cause ReaL is awesome ^_^
then I have NMx for the bottom

Rooting for aTm/ESC, but I think Rox.Kis/Dignitas and Acer will make it.
Btw. how does the system work? if you have 4 qualifiers with top-2 spots make it to the tournament each time, you will have 24 teams in the tournament - which means, you would have 3 teams in WR 4.

Well I think RoX really should be in this, they're the best foreign team not in this by a mile. But I really hope AL, LighT and LucifroN n' Friends also get in!

Tough first round opponent in Dignitas, but nothing we can't overcome on a good day
