Destructive For the past several months Team Legion [LgN] has been seeking a coach, but have been unable to find someone suitable for the job. With ChiTa busy coaching our Korean team house, our NA players were left fending for themselves in a relatively critique free environment. However as any good player knows, sometimes it takes someone besides yourself to illuminate your flaws. How could we ever find someone on a high enough level to coach all of our players, in all three races? Without significant skill in each race, our coach would simply devalue to nothing but a poster child. When we met Destructive, however, our concerns were alleviated.
Destructive is a high level North American Grandmaster player who plays Random. He is most known for his top tier 2v2 performance with players like ProTech. With a good win rate and impressive performance in tryout games, we knew right away who was right for the job. Destructive will work as a personal trainer for all of our players while they practice on the NA server, and will help us to evaluate our players and where they need to improve.
I am very happy to offer my Random experitse and creative thinking to help improve Team Legion's players. I hope to help them improve as much as possible as they continue to succeed in e-sports. LgNDestructive -NA Coach
Destructive's meticulous, flexible, and consistent play in every race will undoubtedly rub off on our team in the coming months. We are very happy to add him to the mix. LgNDarigaz -Team Owner
Blackman With our Protoss heavy Korean roster, we are very happy to pick up a new Korean Terran who shows a lot of potential. Blackman played in the GM ladder in korea, and was a top 16 player on the NA server. Returning to e-sports with the LgN tag, Blackman brings with him a lot of untapped skill.
It is great news that we have a new Korean Terran player. Some of our players know Blackman, and I am confident that he will fit into the team easily and bring a lot to the table. LgNDarigaz - Team Owner
I know that I will perform well with Team Legion. It is a great pleasure to play for such a promising team. LgNBlackman **Note: This is NOT the Blackman from Brood War
Specialist a.k.a xiLith a.k.a Allinking Poor Avilo. With no Terran teammates to practice with, he was left to cut through Terran players on ladder like butter beneath his renound mech play. Indeed, Avilo's patient, defensive TvT is one of the best in North America. But after seeing Specialist play, it was like watching Avilo's evil twin brother. With his hyper aggressive timings , and ability to make marines counter just about everything, we know that Specialist will be an excellent addition. But Specialist isn't just good at micro, and has the ability to surprise opponents in the late game with very consistent macro. With three GM accounts on NA with 60+% win rate, Specialist is just the player we have been looking for to balance our NA roster.
Today is a great day for me as I join team LgN. I have been looking for a team to settle with in order to improve and develop as a player. I think LgN will give me the opportunity to achieve these goals with all the great players they have. I will be working hard to represent the team and produce results. -LgNSpecialist
Specialist is certainly one of the best teamless Terran's in North America. I was very impressed with his play, and it is clear to us all that he has the determination, but most importantly, the skill to succeed in Starcraft 2. LgNDarigaz -Team Owner

I'm suprised Chita is still on the Legion roster. Wasn't he found stream cheating in a playhem daily a couple of weeks ago?

I was so excited coming into this thread. I thought we were going really old school.
Nevertheless, goodluck with the team!

ROFL, botched the first reply I typed. Good luck to specialist glad he found a team.

Haha damn I thought it was blackman from bw, that woulda been sick haha. Cool news nonetheless
|
Good pick-up from the Legion!
|
I thought it was the old Blackman too at first. Kinda disappointed now. haha

Specialist lost to me 0-2 in a tournament while we were both on the same team and got pretty mad, calling me a stream cheater and bming me.
Blackman is a sick pickup though and it's cool that you guys picked up someone as a coach

Hahaha me too, I remember his wcg run vs boxer and the rumors that he designed his own ai to practice with.
Great times

This is an obvious prime example of someone being jealous of a person getting picked up to be on a team and it wasn't them, next time don't try to brag and say a person that is joining a good team lost to you 0-2 in a tournament then got mad, that has absolutely no relevance to this thread and it just makes you look like an insanely jealous, envious person, which you are. -_-;;
Cool pickup and I am glad that Specialist got in a team, I was in his division and he is a very good Terran player, probably because he is korean ^^, GL Legion and Specialist~

No relevance? He's speaking about Specialist's character, how is that not relevant? Pretty huge overreaction/assumption to call him "insanely jealous, envious person" too.

This.
Also GGZerG, no it's not. This truly is who Spec is.
The next paragraph is going to be pretty mean. However I personality believe Spec has it coming. He treated the team/managers/owners very poorly before when all we tried to do was help him out.
I remember when I was apart of elevengaming and we brought on Specialist/xiLith. It was looked upon when looking back as the biggest mistake ever. As a co-manager, I would message Sanghoo to see when he could play matches and such and he would tell me to go fuck myself then log off/block me. I remember him calling me a n****** on the team private message boards even though I'm not even black.
His whole time on the team he was so concerned about his image. He got banned on TL and couldn't stream for telling incontrol that he was going to kill him for like no reason at all either. He wanted to leave xi just so he could create another aka and start a new TL account just for streaming. We thought of xiLith and didn't tell anyone his aka just so he could stream.
Our team owner would message him and just say like Hey hows it going and Lith would question why he was being communicated with. Nice kid sometimes but when he was with xi he was at university of emery and there were days when he would literally just stream 70 games and sit in his dorm the whole day. While a lot of people don't see a problem with that, however when you have managers watching your streaming games and want to consult with you about your mistakes in game, then you say fuck off and just keep searching ladder instead of watching replays/analyzing your mistakes, then you're just a mistake yourself. I would offer some tips on stream and he would just ban me. It was the biggest waste of time trying to him this guy.
Now comes the MWC event that our team hosted with out of pocket expenses. This kid cried so hard that we gave money to other players for them to travel to the event before even telling us he was trying to come. We offered to pay his full expense and then he backed out instantly. He just liked starting shit all the time. He's a total nut case with no social skills. I'm still shocked that he went to some Louisiana based lan recently because I never thought he would go to an event. Maybe he's finally grown up some because he was very immature for the better part of a calendar year that I dealt with him. Even his only friend on the team was Warden at the time and even Warden got sick of his shit after awhile and just stopped talking to him.
Good luck with the pickup LgN. There was about a month long period where I personally put a lot of time trying to manage this kid, watched his stream for hours at work, wrote down mistakes on a notepad trying to help him out and fix his builds, and he would just shit all over everything. I even watched some of his stream again recently and it was the same old sloppy play. His mindset of his true skill is based off his ladder points. lol
-----------------
As far as Destructive/Power. I've played this guy so many times in 2v2. I truly hated him because he would just run up sick records 70-1, etc in 2v2 play. I would match him with RT teammates and it would be so hard to beat him with their set and solid strats. I had a real good conversation with him and he felt the same way I did on many problems with 2v2 play. He's an extremely good pickup and I have no doubt that he will succeed very well in solo play. Now that's a good pickup.

destructive really good pickup! specialist on the other hand very bm o.O

I thought Trump was on your team?

I thought Trump was on your team? yea wtf. I was stoked he got picked up and then all of the sudden he's been streaming KOTOR
