Linko and Zerker go inactive

Two of the longest standing members of the It's Gosu eSports Starcraft II team, GoSu.Zerker and GoSu.Linko, have been released following their decisions to go inactive.

Zerker and Linko, both original members of All4ONE gaming before its acquisition by It's Gosu eSports, have both decided to leave the professional Starcraft II community and focus on other goals and endeavors.

“As much as it hurts to have them leave, I smile knowing that their departure is the result of successes outside of the world of Starcraft. Both of them have been amazing players, and are now succeeding in other areas of life and striking out to pursue other goals,” said Scott “RuM” Ball, manager of It's Gosu eSports and former founder of All4ONE Gaming, in reference to the longtime players' departure.

“Linko is someone who was instrumental in the founding of All4ONE Gaming, and was with me from the ground up," Ball said. "He is someone I am quite close to, and, as his friend, I am so happy to see him doing so well with his full time occupation now. He is someone I will never forget, both in terms of friendship and in terms of what he brought to the table professionally. The assistance he was able to give me was invaluable. As a manager, one of the nicest things a player can do for you is put their faith in your decision making, and he stood behind me every step of the way. If he ever decides to return to SC2, he will always have a spot in ItsGoSu! I wish him the best and I hope he continues to prosper!”

“The same can be said for Zerker,” Ball continued. “He served as our lone Zerg for a long time, and gave everything he had in his dedication to helping the team as a whole improve. He was able to provide several of his fellow teammates with practice, and led the way with theory crafting to help them improve their play. Marc is a player that I will miss, and I wish him the best in whatever he decides to pursue.”
