Hello!
I have recently received some new computer parts and I am now able to stream at a pretty high quality. I figured I would make a stream thread to let people on TL know when I am streaming. I am a featured streamer on CLG so you can find me either through CLG's website or Solomid's website (they have a list of streams there as well)
I streamed in the wee hours of the morning (EST) yesterday for the first time in about a year and had a lot of fun chatting it up with people on IRC and losing with Honver on my team. Unfortunately I will be out of town until Monday and then moving into a new apartment during the following week so my time streaming will be limited for a while. However, once I get situated and start up classes I hope to be streaming regularly. I'll post a streaming schedule once things settle down.

Its a hell of a lot easier than making meaningless posts in random streaming threads to up ones post count believe you me.

I hope this doesn't mean you will stop using the dropbox for your replays. For me, there is no better resource. Does this thread also mean that the commentary thread will be combined into this one, or will you maybe start that up again as well as a separate thing?

Actually I think what makes the most sense would be to make a youtube channel. With my new computer I could actually stream a replay and provide commentary and upload that to youtube (the issue stopping me earlier was the fact that I couldn't capture the video of the replay so I couldn't record audio and video at the same time). It would streamline the process a ton. I will keep the dropbox available and refresh the replays in it every once in a while as well. It should be relatively up to date and working, is it? Combining the threads probably does make the most sense, I'll talk to Neo/Fakesteve about it.

Yeah, I regularly see new replays in there. You upload them in batches, right? Or at least, that is how it appears in dropbox.
If I may offer a counterpoint to the youtube suggestion, what I liked about the replay+voice was that 1) It was a small package with great quality and 2) It gave me a bit more control over in-game control, so I could bring up the score board to see kills and CS, examine the map, etc.
The downside to this, obviously, was the sync issue. Of course, it is up to you which course you take but depending on the trouble, perhaps you could do both?
