You know I have to say that I am kind of disapointed with the feedback I received from my post. No one has contacted me about contributing money, which I find surprising because there have been numerous forum debates on the ability of this site to generate revenue, as well as the addition of the paypal donate button.

I think, however, that part of the problem is my own fault for not being clear enough. I would have already used the paypal button, except for a couple reasons:

1) The main reason is that I have some questions about where the money would go and what its purpose would be. When I say that I wasnt clear in my post, my meaning was this.

I am willing to donate a significant amount of money to the site, to ensure its continued operation at the quality that we as visitors have come to expect.

I do not wish to fund a site that would die anyways, either from financial issues or a lack of intrest from the administrative staff. (Although what I have seen in the few months I have visited would indicate that wouldnt be a problem). I also dont want to be contributing my money to fund someones lifestyle, pay their bills or something of that nature.

Therefore, if this site is serious about needing some money to grow and flourish, contact me and maybe we can work something out. If you have the situation under control and you dont need any assistance, I am sorry to have wasted your time. I only post this because the utter lack of response to an honest offer baffled me. Again, I understand that you might often get promises that are either insignificant or made in bad faith, but I assure you that contacting me might be worth your time.

I too wish to contribute. i doubt (by the intent of your post) that i would be able to contribute as much as you. no worry tho, i'm sure the parties concerned have read the post and are talking amongst themselves and/or are just simply busy as heck. i'm sure in time they will contact people as required. please dont lose faith in such a wonderful and mannered place such as this. i know i wont.
