- Your thoughts on making the round of 32?
I had to face my former teammate (**from estro) starting with the first match, so I am not that happy about it. Since I beat Killer, I will try to win the tournament on his behalf.

- Your round of 32 opponent may be Nestea.
I think my bracket luck isn’t so good. Of all the players, Nestea was the one player I most wanted to avoid, but since that is the case, I believe as long as I can beat him I will be able to win the tournament.

- In the first set, your stim upgrade was canceled (**by Killer).
I thought my build was favorable for me, but when that happened, I panicked a bit. I am glad he wasn’t aggressive right after that happened.

- In the 2nd set, your nuke attacks were impressive.
I wasn’t in the best position at all times, it definitely was not used as a ceremony.

- It looked like you tried to avoid a large engagement.
Protoss can reinforce their units very quickly, so if you lose one large engagement, your main can be destroyed. This is probably the same reason as MVP when he played so safely in his match (**against Creator).

I think I can at least make the round of 4. I don’t think there are any players that I am really afraid of.

NesTea – ‘I will show something cool next time.’

- Your thoughts on making the round of 32?
I was a bit worried because big names have been falling left and right. I practiced hard, but I don’t think I showed everything that I practiced so I am a bit disappointed.

- In the 2nd set, you were dealt with a reversal (**he lost after being in a good position).
I thought I had the game won. But I didn’t think that he would Nydus me. I practiced hard to show something interesting in the 2nd game so I am disappointed that I didn’t really get to show it. I will show it for my next zerg matchup.

- In the 3rd set, you blocked roach aggression with banelings.
Even in practice, I was only able to hold off roach rushes by the thinnest of margins. I knew that my tech as ahead so I thought I was in a good position. But I didn’t have that much confidence that I could hold the attack.

- Your next opponent is Bomber.
I played him a couple of times on the ladder and I think he plays well. I think Bomber may be the toughest opponent in my bracket. But I plan to get to the semifinals. As long as I beat Bomber, I feel like I can meet my goals.

- Do you have any desire to win in foreign tournaments?
I want to go so badly. I want to have a rematch with Dimaga. When GSL has a break, and there are foreign tournaments, I really want to participate. But for now, I guess it is ok for participate in these Korean leagues. The GSL has the best prize money.

- What do you think about the foreign online tournaments?
I don’t think I can do online. I don’t want to give any excuses, but I get really angry at the lag. Because of the lag, I don’t think I want to be in any online tournament in the future. It causes me a lot of stress without a lot of payoff.

- Your thoughts on making the round of 32?
I predicted that the games would be tough against such a hard opponent. I am really happy that I could advance.

- How did you prepare for today’s match?
I don’t usually try to cheese rush, but I practiced my builds thinking that my opponent would try to get a lot of drones very quickly. However, I was blocked several times today. I think I still lack practice.

- The reason for your loss in the 2nd set?
Usually, after banshee harassment, if the mains are close positions I push and if they are cross, I try to proceed slowly. I was deciding between the stim and the combat shield upgrade and ended up getting the combat shield. I think I should have gotten stim faster.

- In the 3rd set, were the hellions planned?
I saw that he got roaches in the game previously. And well prepared players will get them just to be safe. However, if you do, the downside is that your tech will be slower. And I thought that this time his tech was a bit fast, so I tried to aim at that weakpoint and knew he wouldn’t be as well prepared. I saw that he didn’t have zerglings inside the bases so I went in.

- Your next opponent will be a protoss.
They are both good players so it will be similar no matter who advances. However I am pretty good at TvP so I think it has worked out well for me.

If I can win in the round of 32, I think the round of 16 will be really tough. I have been losing a lot of TvTs recently.

- Your goal for this season?
I want to get past the challenges and get to the round of 8.

By beating LosirA I think I have shown my improved play, but I will try hard to show even better form in the future.

I am happy that I was able to win. PvP has been tough for me in the past, so I am happy that I was able to advance.

- Did you get any help from oGs’s Inca or MC?
They were not able to help that much. But Hero was able to help me with both practice and researching builds.

- What do you think about Bel’shir beach?
It’s an ok map but I haven’t played it that much so I can’t really judge it quite yet.

- You were able to use the terrain very well.
I tried to focus on using the terrain and having good control. In PvP, precise control is the most important. I actually planned to 4 gate. But after scouting, I felt like I could win if I defended the attack.

- When did you know you would in?
After winning the 1st set, I felt like I could predict my opponent’s builds so I gained a lot of confidence.

- Your next opponent is Polt.
He is a good player but compared to Marineking or Bomber he is a bit worse. However, he was able to take out MC so I am not overlooking his skills. I will make sure to show a good game.

- A lot of foreign players declined their invitation for this tournament, is that disappointing?
It is a bit disappointing, but I know why they can’t come. A lot of players feel like entering an easier tournament raises their chances for winning, and there are some players that have problems communicating their desires with their team. I hope more foreign players will come here in the future.
