Hello everyone, The "Foreigners To Korean Clans Program" (FTKCP) is now being RELAUNCHED today, the program was put on hold for a long time due to the fact that all of the USWest Korean clans were in the midst of a transition to Fish server at that time so starting the program then didn't work, but now the time has come. And this time it is going to be hitting more full swing then last time, as a clan will be found for anyone and everyone, there are some exceptions, if you think you might not be able to apply to this program then view the player list of exceptions to see if your name is on the list.

So far there is 2 Korean clans on Fish server that will be accepting Foreigners ( non - koreans ) to join there clans, the list will be updated as many clan leaders on Fish like the idea of a unification between Foreign and Korean communities, there is a lot of players on Fish that are helping a lot with the progression of this as well so it is now heading a very positive direction.
The only thing is that of course some of the clans that will be changing regulations and will now be accepting foreign players, do have a ladder regulation just like the korean players, but there will also be clans added that don't have such strict regulations, the point of getting the top tier korean clans to accept foreigners even with ladder score regulation is to influence others, please understand.

Still waiting to discuss the FTKCP Program with clan master but, he already said I could join if I was 1300, so I assume that means any foreigner, this will be finalized soon...Positive outlook.

How could i work my way up into better clans ? Do i just have to get really good or do i need connections?

ahh yea i meant to add this, I started off in one of the lowest clans on West, a.Die_ a clan that posed n.Die_ ( LOL ), then went to [TOp] -> Neo.G_ -> [aLive] -> [SKT] -> [ArnC] -> now Ever) , so yea i moved around over the course of say 5-6 years, but clans died, people left clans and i followed, regardless along the way the koreans are very nice people. Start off in one of the clans I'm bringing forth now, if things don't work out or something then move on and hope to join the next clan, once you are in one fairly noteable korean clan you will have a shot at any if you prove you can improve, are gm, and are active, anything is possible. Impossible is nothing. ^^

i guess one or two questions i've always found hard
how do i read korean if it comes up as ???????? (that is what it auctally shows me. I don't have a xp cd btw)
and also, how are we supposed to communitcate with them?

U.S. West is where all the progamers go for games and such. so naturally all the main clans are there as well.

I think this is a very good idea and I would be very interested in giving this a go as I am very bad at broodwar but with no skill requirement this allows me to play with better players and get better
