EPTBaseLAN has been an on-going Winnipeg LAN tradition for a few years now. Used to be a huge event for counter-strike players, serving as a regional qualifier for WCG Canada finals, but has been recently transitioning to one of the top Fighting Game and SC2 tournaments in Western Canada.
The event is sponsored by one of our local ISP's, Shaw Cable, so internet/connection will not be an issue for the entire event. The first SC2 tourney they put on in November had a HUGE turnout, way more than they expected, and they are ready for it again this time around.
I would love to see people from around the area show up, we used to have teams from the States, Ontario and Saskatchewan show up for the CS 1.3-1.6 tourneys, now I would love to see people from these areas show up for SC2 now.
