Your ZvP has been poor lately.
-I’ve basically forgotten about the losses. After beating Best last time, I was determined to make a new start. Coach Park told me “didn’t you win last time? Just play with the same mindset.” Those words helped me a lot.

How did you prepare for today’s game?
-I played according to what I planned, and the game unfolded like I planned. It was easy, I’m glad.

You overcame your ZvP and ZvT weaknesses, what’s your secret?
-I practice much more now, and I also watched a lot of other people’s games, and learned a lot. There are a lot of excellent hyungs on the team, and I asked them a lot of questions. Also, hyvaa-hyung helped me a lot.

Who do you want to be grouped with in the Ro16?
-I want to play ZvP. I want to play the best players on the OSL stage, and to defeat Protosses to find confidence.

Your goal this season?
-It was originally the Ro16, but now I need to modify that. If I can achieve my current goals, I’ll try to go even further.

Last words?
-In the first round against Skyhigh, my teammates Size and Classic helped me practice, and in the second round, Trap and 변현재 [T/N: doesn’t show up in TLPD search] helped me. Thanks to them and Coach Park, and everyone I didn’t mention and the fans. I’m still in a losing streak in SPL, I’m going to use this opportunity to end my losing streak in SPL.

Your third consecutive Ro16.
-I’m glad. I was very confident, but unfortunately I lost a game, but luckily I still advanced.

You had a good strategy in game 1.
-The middle part of the map is very short, so good Shuttle harass can seal the game. But I feel like only Reavers can be defended, so I prepared a backup plan. I was worried about how to play, and Coach Soo told me to play like how I wanted to prepare.

You were pressured continuously in game 2 and lost.
-The opponent used the Dropship for vision and got the minerals, so I knew he wanted to play management. I wanted to put down 2 Nexuses, but I got timing rushed.

You used Carriers well in game 3.
-He discovered the Reavers later than I expected, so he couldn’t damage me. I think he was surprised too. I saw the Turret numbers, and compared to using offensive units like Reavers, it’d be better to just play macro. I’ve played many games with Arbiters and Carriers recently, and Baby seemed to have very late Scans in both games 1 and 2, so I decided to try Carriers in game 3. [T/N: Baller read]

Goal this season?
-I’m feeling good this reason. When preparing, I practiced so long but I didn’t even realize it. I think with such good practice, I can expect some good results.

STX has been doing well in the individual leagues.
-Good results and good atmosphere, it feels relaxing. From now on, there should be no problems in SPL and in individual leagues.

Last words?
-I want to thank Sae for helping me practice, and Shuttle wanted me to wish him good luck in my interview [laugh] I hope Shuttle can forget yesterday’s loss, and refind his momentum.

STX fighting! I didn't really think that Modesty would make it but I guess Skyhigh's TvZ hasn't really improved much.. And fucking awesome strat in game 3 by Kal, baby wasn't expecting it at ALL.

Wow, nice read by Kal.

I recommend all of his games against Baby, his shuttle tricks in game two are among the greatest I've ever seen.

- You've made it to the Ro16 seven seasons in a row.
▲ During practice I lost a lot, so I was initially pretty worried, but my teammates encouraged me and helped me out so I was able to get good results.

- Your medic-marine usage was good.
▲ In the style of play I used today, it was imperative not to lose too many mnms, so I focused on my control. In televised matches the opponents' control isn't 100% either, so it was very useful. [T/N: I don't get this answer at all]

- Your previous record against HyuN was 0:2.
▲ I didn't really pay attention to the record; what I did pay attention to was what happened in those games. At the time I didn't play bionic, so this time I wanted revenge. [t/n: ??]

- You used your army very aggressively.
▲ Recently I've found that when I play energetically the game flows better, so I've been focusing on being more aggressive in all leagues and games. I've spent a lot of time on it in practice too.

- The team's record is extremely good, preparing for individual leagues must be comfortable.
▲ Our team's record is indeed good, so we have a lot of time to practice for our individual matches. As a result, I started playing the new OSL maps from a long time ago, and I was able to adapt to them more quickly. Outside of SPL, the team has set my goal for me - the gold medal - so they've been helping me practice a lot.

- Your thoughts on the current season [of OSL].
▲ I always thought the OSL's lineup was very strong, and I think everyone has a chance. Regardless of who I face, I won't underestimate them and I will prepare my hardest.

- Your goal for this season?
▲ The goal is the title. In last season's MSL, I made it to the semifinals, so I have the confidence that I can make it further than that. This season I should be able to win.

- Last thoughts
▲ I lost a lot during practice, but Hyuk, who sits beside me, helped me out a lot to reduce the burden. Before coming today, S2 and Hyuk both practiced with me a ton, so I'm really thankful to them.
