When the game first came out a few weeks ago i played the single player campaign right away. When I beat some missions i got several achievements. Now that I look back, some of those achievements that I originally got don't count towards the mastery achievement (the one for completing all on a certain story line).
Example. I have the achievements for Zero Hour, The Outlaws, Liberation Day, Down With Mengsk, Raynor's Back. But they are not shown as done for the Mar Sara Mastery Achievement. This is also the case with a few others.
I tried to redo them, but it doesn't work. I played everything online so that isn't the problem.
i also have screen shots to show, but i don't how to put them in forum. :/

Yeah I have this issue with tons of achievements.. for both singleplayer and multiplayer, seems that all achievements I've gotten lately has counted up towards the mastery achievement..

Very common problem, there is a huge bug thread about it on the b.net forums. It's preventing me from having both campaign and exploration achievements complete.

Basically, a lot of people who got achievements early on have had trouble with the corresponding mastery, or meta achievement. Still, they have surely known about it for quite awhile now and are still barely saying anything.

This happened to me too. I hope they come out with some kind of fix for this without resetting achievements.

I tried to make a new thread about this, but was told it didn't deserve it's own thread. I will post here since this is the closest thread I could find that would suit my question.
It appears that in custom games that beating an achievement at insane level doesn't count towards the lower levels anymore. e.g. very hard, hard. I know they used to. When did this change? Maybe I'm lucky and it's a bug that will be fixed...
I noticed this on the Insane Kin achievement and notices that my win count didn't go up for the other A.I. levels...
Anyone else find this to be true?

I confirm those achievements are clearly buggy, or i'm missing something. I sometimes practice builds versus Very hard AI and never against Hard AI. I still have like 6 or 7 victories against Hard. And like 15-20 against VH.
As I weren't that sure, I just went on winning a game vs Insane AI and got 1 point for Hard and Very Hard. How could I get less points against Hard than against higher dificulties, then..
It needs more testing.

It was changed in the most recent patch I believe. I don't think there is any reason to believe it's a bug. They just made it so that you have to play at each level for the achievements.

The bug was fixed. I only had to play an extra 3 at Very Hard to get them all.
