[SPL] Hwaseung OZ vs STX SouL

Hwaseung OZ is infamous for being a one man team. For a long time now the weight of the team has been placed on Jaedong's lone shoulders. I think Plexa's Power Rank explains exactly how I think Jaedong is fairing ATM:

"... whereas in Jaedong all I see is a battle worn veteran desperate for a break. After being so dominant for so long it is difficult to stay at the top and look as good, Jaedong has done an incredible job to last this long. But honestly I think Jaedong's at the point where he needs to take a trip to Thailand or something and recharge - that will probably be best for his long term career... "

While HiyA seems to finally be stepping up, I can't help but be wary. First I thought Killer was finally going to be the one to bear some of the weight alongside Jaedong, But those thoughts quickly diminished. HiyA goes back and forth from being extremely strong to a pushover at seemingly random times. I just don't want to put faith in HiyA and be disappointed. To be honest I just feel bad for Jaedong. But... even amongst all these problems... Hwaseung OZ is still a team to be reckoned with. Jaedong will almost definitely win his match, seeing how STX SouL's core line up is all Protoss and Zerg. It's all up to HiyA, Killer, BackHo, or Lomo to finish the freaking job! Let's get Hwaseung OZ into the postseason HiyA... it ain't the same without you.

STX SouL

STX SouL is one of the most powerful teams at the moment. While they don't have a superhero, they don't really have any weaknesses besides not having a strong, reliable Terran. Basically with STX SouL, you never can get a free win against them. Just look at their lineup. Kal is a beast. He is just barely below Stork's caliber(huge Stork bias ), and he is one of the few Protoss who can actually beat Zerg. Kal has no bad match-ups. While he isn't an unstoppable force, there is simply no sniping him. Calm is a bit of a let-down recently, but still... he is really good. You aren't getting a free win from him either. He can definitely take an opponent to late game and win a macro battle, or be smart enough to outplay you with cheesey play when necessary. Shuttle has the best PvP besides Stork(ehehehe). He is right next to players like Kal and Horang2 in PvP. Unfortunately for Shuttle, Hwaseung OZ doesn't have a guaranteed Protoss coming into play. While his other matchups are a LITTLE bit shakey, they are still capable of beating any player in the game. And last is hero, who is showing real promise as of late with a 5 game win-streak. Albeit most of them against some of the weaker players. Basically STX SouL is the exact opposite of Hwaseung OZ. They don't depend on one player to win their matches. Everyone on their team is capable and willing.

Killer < Fighting Spirit > Calm

I could see Jaedong or Killer coming out here... usually Hwaseung OZ like to save Jaedong as long as they can, but every now and then they unleash him on the first map. But that is rare. So I'll go with Killer here. Calm was also a toss up between him and Kal. I'm not sure who will come out here. I just decided on Calm over Kal. It's hard to predict ZvZ's, but I think Calm will come out on top for STX SouL.

HiyA < Grand Line SE > Shuttle

Terrans like this map, and Hwaseung OZ tends to send out HiyA on this map. I think HiyA is going to pull through here. I expect Shuttle to come out here because they are saving Kal for Match Point. Betting on HiyA is always a risk. But I'm going to take it this time.

BackHo < Match Point > Kal

This game I'm sure Kal will come out, but for Hwaseung OZ... it all depends on whether or not HiyA wins his game. If he doesn't then Jaedong will obviously come out here. If he does, then BackHo will make an appearance.

Sorry BackHo, I like you... but you aren't gonna beat Kal.

Match of the Night... HiyA is Hwaseung OZ's best chance at taking this map from Kal... it is going to be hard... but I believe... I BELIEVE!
