It's WCG time of the year again! Of course it wouldn't be WCG without the usual WTFWCG stuff such as; last minute broodwar announcement, same outdated maps for bo3's. no invites from last year.
And this year we have a new twist, sc2beta syndrome. Who will qualify or even play this year? Who's good anymore? Who's practicing bw still? omg wtf such burning questions!!!

Format
Very similar to last year minus the invitational tournament. There will be 8 weeklong online qualifiers running on various weeks ranging from April 26th through August 8th. (Last year 10 players represented USA, this year only 8 since no invites???)

Each qualifier will be a single elimination bracket until the final four which will be double elimination. All matches will be bo3 on Blue Storm -> Python -> Tau Cross (same outdated maps as last year wtf WCG!?!)

Is it really necessary to wait till the day of the tourney to make the brackets? Would be nice to know ahead of time if you are going to have a bye so you can plan on doing something else, or have an idea of who you are playing so you can practice if you want..

O, like WCG being worthless like every year and not making brackets for the FINAL 4? Going to have to work on my abilities to predict what non existent rules will be made up in the future to cover worthless admins.
