omfg Avi was down like 70 supply at one point.

it was literally 170 vs 100 or something ridiculous in favor of Datoby after the mid game when Avi lost 9 I thought it was over for sure cuz Avi was already down 0-1 at that point after the fail 2hatch hydra bust in game 1. woo such amazing good hive play.

Watching Avi awakes so much nationalism in me it's scary. And thrilling xD. Go Avi!!! And ye, his defiler play in game 2 was really amazing. But as a zerg, those 5 to 10 minutes that avi's evo chamber was idle when he could have upgraded +3 carapace (against toss +3 wep) was heartbreaking!

Yeah toss had 2k gas for so long. I don't think he realizes how good archons are... just kept making zealots.

So frustrating to see datoby insist on using such a horrible unit composition. Avi has amazing macro that's for sure, but datoby played better each game strategically untill late mid - late game. Then he just insisted on cashfloating and buildings tons of goons vs cracklings. if he just stopped goon production and went for archon and zeal only he owudl win so easily, considerign he had a ton of goons already.

eeh, Datoby DID go pretty much Archons and zealots + reavers in the last part of the game. In my opinion, he wasn't that much better strategically but then again I'm just some random noob who don't really know what he's talking about ^^

Really nice game, though :D

I don't think datoby built a single reaver. Where were the reavers?

Yeah, this is what I got out of the series. datoby seemed solid early-mid game but super fail late game PvZ. Not even sure how that's possible.

My bad, I thought this was the third game, hehe

I still don't agree with the unit combination being THAT horrible, he won 2-4 battles with his goons/ht's/zealots before Avi was able to take it out with lings and swarm. After that, he DID focus more on archons and zealots but it seemed like he wasn't able to get a real Archon count because of all the fighting

Some gosu correct me if I'm wrong =)

This game was incredible. I was convinced that Datoby had it in in the bag early (not early, but compared to the length of the lategame), but Avi managed to really get back into the game and lay down the law. I was impressed both by how Avi used lurker ling to defend against multiple attacks while still keeping the Protoss army down as best he could, and how Datoby was able to multitask and control his army properly (if not engage while it was composed properly).

Avi so good. Especially given his hardware issues.

God I was so convinced Datoby had it in the bag, being on equal bases at one instance and had crushed Avi for like half the game.

Incredible game nevertheless. Props to Avi for playing well throughout.

If you think this is good, watch Flaf vs G5 game 1.
