EPT I wasn't fully aware that Idra was that good already back then... Really nice play by him at parts of this game, however Hon_joon is fucking good as well... won't spoil result - go watch it

Best plays a nice aggressive opening, using a perfectly timed DT+Shuttle harass to delay Idra in adding 3 more factories after taking his natural, thus allowing the Protoss to double expand (nat + hidden 3rd) without making units. During the harassment, Idra accidentally loses his eBay to two Dragoons, allowing the remaining DT to raze his only factory's machine shop. I think Idra wins the game if the eBay doesn't go down. The harass gives Best a nice advantage that Idra continually cuts into as Best is slow to add gates. Idra eventually pulls to about even, creating an opportunity for Best to lose the game; however, Best gets a handful of Carriers right in time to seal the deal. Which is pretty much how the game went, Best delayed Idra to death. Curious as to why Idra did not get a dropship after he saw Best's shuttle, since it would allow harass plus access to the island expands which are typically easier for Terran to defend. | ||
