And just so there's no more confusion and speculation (I'm sorry for causing those with cryptic one liners), here's the proper summary of the reason TLS is not played on ICCup anymore:
ICCup is not allowing events to be played on their server that are featuring anyone who is blacklisted on their server. With us having dOTY (who is blacklisted on ICCup) seeded into the Ro24, we're effectively not following their rules and as such we're not allowed to play any of our games on ICCup anymore. We have tried to find the solution to this so that at least qualifiers could still be played on ICCup since players are most familiar with that, but unfortunately ICCup was pretty adamant about their rules and we didn't have other choice but to search for different solutions.
Due to the insufficient time to properly prepare for this problem, we're gonna hold the remaining two qualifiers on the korean Fish server. We know that this is not an ideal solution, since Fish server comes with the problems of their own. That's why, starting from Ro24 onward, we're gonna set up our own temporary private server where all TLS games will be played from now on to avoid any further problems with 3rd party servers.
I hope you all don't make a big problem out of this, because in the end, all we want is to celebrate Brood War and continue its legacy for as long as we can.

well doty is a seeded player in TLS and doty is a "hacker" according to iccup so...
They actually banned me for bm towards admins, which is not true how they (Soldier and GeckoXP) are representing the facts. But I wont bring this up again here now.
I have contacted Yello-Ant regarding this (means me beeing on the blacklist now.) and awaiting his answer for some days now. (He is unbiased regarding this situation, at least that is my feeling.)
Pretty childish behaviour though, and can only explained to me by Gecko's personal feelings towards me.
to be honest i read quite some comments that were not mature from both of you, you and Gecko. But whatever the case with your personal grudge with him, it's none of my business. I just really hope you can sort it out with him, because moving TLS to fish for this ... really sucks
You are right, but when i've spoken to him it was never on ICCup it mostly were privat conversations on Skype (which never had to do anything with iccup or my or his position there, actually back then we had different opinions about Eywa as an organizer and somehow got into bm'ing each other) which should not affect my right to be/play on iccup. I also never had any personal grudge against anyone from ICCup. (Most ICCup Admins do like me alot actually, it is just that Gecko and Soldier seem to make the calls right now, I'm friends with Gen,Myu,Fitz,Face, Flawless, when he still did care, and so on).
And the latest comments from my side towards him was because he was telling lies to people about me hacking/used to hack. On both TL.net and BW.de (On broodwar.de he even attacked me on a News about TLS1). It never had anything to do with ICCup as a server nor about it's admins! (Before he banned me and cleared all of my ID's for no reason obviously.)
If I was hacking there would be evidence ( Would I loss so often if I was hacking ? - for example my game against draw on TLS1 where his genius outplayed me, god he's such a role model protoss player.)
If i had nothing better to do than going online on ICCup daily to attack ICCup (Admins) for no reason or even at all, wouldn't there be screenshots or something rather than just statements from two persons who dislike me ? Yeah Gecko and I dont like each other but it has got nothing to do with ICCup. ( From my side ).
And again you are right,regarding moving TLS 2 to fish because of this, but that's nowhere near my call, and i have explained myself to Yello-Ant extensive and can just hope he'll reconsider my case.
I dont wanna bring this up again though, since it doesn't make sense to argue about it HERE. I just wanted to make it clear what's the situation right now. To be honest I am pretty tired and annoyed by this non-sense drama

It's 4 hours after qualifiers start so it should be mostly done by then. And downtime only lasts for about a minute or two so it shouldn't be a problem.

This really would be the kind of epic thing TL is probably capable of doing. Fish is great in alot of ways, but not ideal for newer players and lower skilled players that don't know Korean. ICCup is sorta okay, but seems to come with lots of drama and random bullshit, like this situation with Doty.
A good foreign server with a decent ladder ranking/rating system and free of drama would be quite nice. Apparently, if I recall correctly (seem to remember someone posting about such a tool), it might even be possible to have some sort of auto-matchmaking, which would be an even better thing than sliced bread.
Yea, that wasn't really TLS related post, but the fact that TL is willing to set up a private server for the tour is quite awesome, and lends itself to some nice potential. Hopefully qualifiers 3 and 4 will run smoothly enough and everyone gets Fish figured out a head of time. Would be a shame if some big names miss out because they don't pat attention or in rare cases can't use fish.

But indeed, it is epic to have an own server for TL tours and leagues. :D
It's not like TeamLiquid is going to make a new private server for a competitive ladder. They're just going to use their own private server for tournament games.
