i am loving Nal_rA, yes? there are some pros who are good b/c through practice (99%), and some players who just have a certain genius for the game. rA is one. parallel lines recall vs GF. raid assault pvz vs July. savior is another (has anyone ever noticed how he always seems to have just the right mix in zvzs and how he always seems to have slightly more mins than his opponent? answer: drone micro OTL)

also, although he has his detractors, iloveoov is just a straight up man. tvp, ok i'll plant 2 tanks and a turret and resource whore, and when you come in, i'll have 8 factories just in time to pump units to defend your puny rush then i'll own you, and in the meanwhile i'll also make another hidden expo. tvz i'm going to 2 rax but make a CC after 1 marine (before FE wasn't standard). shit like that = balls of steel

I remember the first time I ever understood probe micro. I was with Teroru, and we had just smoked a huge amount of pot and beat the original bubble bobble. I had my laptop over and we watched a rA FPVOD. I couldn't believe what I was seeing at the beginning of the game, where he microed every probe to the closest possible mineral patch. It went on for ages, and was just ridiculous to watch. In my mind, he will always be the smartest player ever.

Also for some reason I initially read Teroru as Terato, and thought you were hanging out with him for some reason.

lol. No, I mean when he was mining, he would change the path of each probe so the closest one was ALWAYS being mined. Most people split their workers to the four closest mineral patches and just leave them to mine the same one. He was constantly changing their paths to optimize efficiency.

Oh ok, it just reminded me of when somebody a while ago (I want to say Mynock, Mensrea, or Bill307, but I really don't remember who) commented on how )Is(City split his first four workers to the furthest spots, and it was sort of representative of why he was never really successful in progaming.

yellow... argueably the second best pro of all time, his micro is just sick, i start yelling at the monitor when he does some stupid shi.t

... when he wins i go all happy and stuff, when he loses i don't feel like doing anything that day... i never post here ( maybe i posted one more time long ago and it was in a yellow related thread ) but when i saw this thread i just had to post and show my apreciation to him :D. ofc my words do not even begin to reflect the great player that he is. i remember the games vs cloud, he lost the first 2, but he looked so calm and like he knew what he was going to do, i never saw him panic, he ended up winning 3-2 and lol cloud was steaming

lol i watched that documentary too, it was cool so much inside footage
