Boxer without a doubt.

I think it would be pointless to discuss why, it's been overdone lol.

Btw whatever happened to Gryff?

Most of the times I dig old school gamers.. Boxer, Reach, Nada, Themarine etc.. The new generation gamers seem less charismatic..

Personally my favorite would have to be hands down BoxeR. The man is not afraid to do anything it takes and has been on the pimpest plays list more than any other player. the man comes up with new and refreshing ways to deal with things and does not stick to the conformed way of playing a certain MU.I love him for his boldness and probably one of the only players to perfectly use the medic. All that aside than man basicly invented most gosu micro for terran, He is the one that revolutionized the game over and over again, and he is the one that will probably stand out even after he has left the scene.

My second favorite player would be Testie because he is original and is one of the only top progamers u see that uses more than their straight up matchups. Random at that level just gets him a tip o the hat from me
Its not that Im lazy. Its that I just dont care.

Yeah with NAda doing good again i thought he would pop in and GOGOGO HAHA BOXER NOT IN OSL or retiring but he didnt.

I liked all the top terrans Boxer most though
Boxer, NAda, Xellos, Midas and Oov. And Casy too now with his vult and mnm micro.

For zerg; would go for Chojja. Hes been here for a while and he has a very good micro, his muta-lings are extremely precise.

For Protoss; I would go for Grrrr..., even though he dosent play anymore. His reavers were legendary, and i guess the game on bladestorm vs zerglee pretty much showed that he still knew how to play even when he has passed his prime, and could still do some pretty unusual stuff to throw is enemy off(not that maelstrom had never been used in PvZ, but it was generally regarded as a waste before that game.)

For Terran; Boxer... and thats all i got to say about that.

I have 3 players that I rate over all others

TERRAN
Midas[gm] - I've loved him since he went by he name DDanGG, and I really enjoy his Terran (BOXER is great bcuz of his pimp-ness) but my favourite Terran is by far Midas.

PROTOSS
Bisu[Shield] - I can't get enough of this player. He's my overall favourite player of all time. After looking at his reppack, i was like omfg this guy is really GOSU..... And now he's owning everyone up v-_-v. (I wish he was good manner guild member though :p)

ZERG
Savior[gm] - The only zerg that I actually enjoy watching and I always hope that he wins his games. Besides IPX i just enjoy FP Views of July's muta-micro. Too me he's the best player in the world atm.

I have three idols for each race even though I like pretty much all the top progamers except GF, Mumyung, Rainbow, JJu, ZergMan, and Doggi.

Basically players with great execution are fun to watch and I also consider myself being more micro/macro oriented than strategy oriented. It's art watching perfect micro and macro at the same time. These players are weaker strategywise, but stand out and make up for it with pure skills in the two fundamental traits this game has.

For Protoss its Park Jung Suk aka [Oops]Reach, because of his inhuman micro/macro. His use of templars in shuttles are absolutely stunning in PvT. He's the only Protoss to have 3-0ed Oov, and the only player he has a serious jinx against is Nada. Mostly got credit for his macro before, but he is responsible for the noisiest crowd ever when he maelstromed 30-40 devourers against Chojja in MSL.

For Terran its Lee Yun Yeol aka [ReD]NaDa, also because of his extreme micro/macro. His SKTerran is matched by none, and he's the most accomplished gamer in history. Also his matchups are very even, and he pulls of pimp moves all the time. For example his 5 dropship 5 different places against Jy on Luna, and also his excellent vulture micro against Gorush in MSL.

For Zerg its Park Sung Jun aka JulyZerg, yet again because of devastating micro/macro. He's the pioneer of Zerg, starting the golden age of Zerg when he became the first Zerg to ever win one of the major korean leagues. His mutamicro is ridiculous, and he has stopped a large number of crazy bunker rushes with worshipworthy dronemicro. The one against Nada in Snickers comes to mind, but also the one against Boxer in his highlight video. I've never been as happy for a player winning an OSL final as I were watching the 5th game against GF in EVER2 OSL. Not only because I absolutely didnt want GF winning, but the way he UNDRESSED GF with his mutas. Im not sure ANY other Zerg player would have won in a situation like that.

Other players I like are Boxer for having the best micro ever, Oov for having the best macro ever, Anytime for his ballsy strats, rA for his fantastic Sair/Reaver, and Sync for his sparky sunkenmelting.

whoa talk about taking the words out of my mouth, i agree 99% except that i actually like some of the ones you dislike, too bad they dont do good in individual leagues

XELLOS. Hes just plain bad ass. Remeber the olympus osl when he owned Boxer 3-0? They took the polls and he was like a 3.5 to 1 underdog. He remains so expressionless whether he wins or loses. His ability to keep cool makes him such a scary player. Unlike Midas who cried like a little bitch after getting owned by Savior.

Eh, I can't decide, they're all so likeable ^_^

Boxer, Yellow, Nal_rA, Kingdom.

Editted out a few, now it's only the very dearest left ^_^
On a purely personal note, I'd like to show Yellow the beauty of infinitely repeating Starcraft 2 bunkers. -Boxer

Nada, for his micro, spectacular to watch.

Nalra, the flair of his style of play.

Yellow, just for being too damn sexy.

And of course, good ol' Boxer...and Reach.

HOT-Forever.. He was the first Zerg I saw that really impressed me. I watched his games religiously for the first couple years of my following progaming. Was pretty sad when he retired but of course he hadnt been performing well for bout 1-2 years before that TT

Also Yellow and Nal_Ra for various reasons. I get pretty worked up before I watch their pro matches ;d

sorry who? I'm pretty sure Pusan continually proves himself to suck at PvZ and chokes in big games.

show me that i'm wrong...
Pusan vs JJu in PL -> total rape
although im going to try and not be bias and agree that he hasnt been preforming well as of late... ever since his 0-3'ing of July (and i still belevie there is not a protoss that could have beat july that day) People also forget that he 3-0'd Casy- who won the next starleague

ive seen alot of pusan's pvz (infact one of the reasons why i liked him so much was that he actually beat zergs in his rep pack, unlike any other protoss including reach) and his slump recently hasnt been good for his record... but meh.. im a fanboy for life

A couple years back I was a random player; well, I think I just picked random matchups out of the hat depending on whatever tickled my fancy at the moment. I had also just switched over to Lost Temple-only from BGH with roughly 70~80 apm and I was frequently playing 1v1's in #motel on East server.

But anyways, one night a guy showed me a replay of SlayerS_`BoxeR`.... it made me want to change to terran on the spot. The funny part was that the replay was corrupt too lol... but I still saw this one move that made me pick terran from that point on.

The replay was BoxeR vs Britney Spears on Lost Temple. Britney 9 pooled and BoxeR countered it with a makeshift wall. (Flying barracks over 2 scvs and 1 marine) I had never encountered such creativity in Starcraft like this before. It was genius; such a brilliant move.

I harassed the guy that showed me the replay to show all of SlayerS_`BoxeR`'s replays that night. I think I saw all of his released replays in that single night. O_O
BritneySpairs is my friend, and i remember him showing me that game before it was released.. he was one of the greatest NZL bw players of all time; certainly the most famous due to that game.. although now hes pretty much retired and is xbox user... got a new car the other day too.. its pretty sweet...
