In his interview, he stated that he practiced like a madman and approached the qualifiers with the mentality that this was the last qualifiers. He never once actually thought about quitting. He just felt like he would do better if the put himself in that kind of scenario. | ||

It's worked wonders for me in swimming and I guess it works much the same way in Starcraft, if you convince yourself that you have to perform.
