Right now rainman is just the weak link, loses lane, worthless everywhere else. He can't play that many top lane champions so if it's a bad matchup he just gets wrecked. Were we watching the same series vs EG?
A couple weeks ago I would have agreed with you,but Rain Man played fairly well in the set vs EG.

I missed all of yesterday and I dont want to read the thread so I dont spoil myself, are there any VODs up anywhere?

Go here: a rerun should start. It's the whole recording of all games from yesterday so you gotta look through it if you want to watch a specific game.
Regarding TSM + Rainman:
Unlike when playing solo queue, he is calm and steady in tournament play even though you sometimes just don't notice, but he's there eating so much crap for his teammates so they can deal the real damage - just like a good bruiser should do.
Apart from that, the title MVP of TSM for yesterday goes to Chaox IMO. Doesn't matter how bad the situation goes, he farms like a boss and makes insane plays out of nowhere that surprise both enemies and viewers.

I believe they slipped it on the stream as well at some point.

When EUs ban, the bans are always directed towards Rain Man.
His Singed is better than Dyrus' imo. He basically MADE solotop Udyr, which was so OP that it had to be nerfed. And he somehow has like a 80% win rate with Teemo in competitive play.
Rain Man in tournament is a lot different than Rain Man in solo queue imo.
Chaox is probably their best player, but there isn't necessarily a weak link on TSM, even Regi is a great player aside from his inconsistencies.

Dan Dinh so good and so different from Regi.

Yeah every time Dan Dinh gets interviewed I can't stop from having a banana grin on my face because his smile is just so damn awesome.
Looking forward to the games today.

Just let ppl who have problems with timezone know, that stream of day2 starts in 30 minute

The biggest factor in game 2 of the EG/TSM series was that EG just didnt farm. Every lane was behind 20 cs by 10 minutes. Game was pretty much over the entire time IMO, baring any sort of INCREDIBLE screwup from TSM.

as much as i dislike rainman in solo queue, his play in this tournament has only impressed me
he's been farming well, doing good in lane, and teleporting and applying map pressure correctly definitely much improved

I think they recognized with their team-comp that they had to win the game early (Nasus/Tristana/Karthus = MONSTER lategame), but they tried TOO hard to win it early, and thus ended up not farming enough.
One of the things I think is interesting is that during the picking, with Trundle and Karthus picked for TSM, the last pick could have been ANYTHING--because Rain Man can play top Trundle, and because Oddone can play jungle Karthus, they could have last-picked a mid, AP, or jungle, and would have been fine in any scenario.

Dyrus trolling the interview so hard. Gotta love EG.
Travis: Does EG have what it takes to take this tournament? Dyrus: Not really. We're always second place in our tournaments. But if we do, we'll get more viewers for Nhat our valued support.

This is probably the most offensively bad camerawork i've ever seen at an ESPORTS event. We don't care about overhead shots of the 5 players. We don't care about closeups to some nerd's face, or a panning crowd shot. We care about the fact that you're ignoring one of the most important parts of the game to not show us pick order.

Thanks, MoonBear - I was completely unable to track it myself because they wouldn't sit on the view or discuss the picks as they were happening.
