Also Wolf said the snitch sometimes doesn't get caught but I'm pretty sure the game can't end unless the snitch is caught. Unless someone gets knocked out or dies I guess.

Yeah, according to the rules there shouldn't be a quidditch match that didn't end with the snitch being caught, which is pretty interesting now that I think about it...
