It could be true, but sir scoots has said in interviews that Puma was their way of entering the korean market without making a huge investment, and that buying a korean team or starting a korean team house was unrealistic for them during this time (that was only a month or so ago)

All he was pointing out was that ocean waves being connected to crossing the pacific is little a farfetched, as it any kind of speculation at this point.
