I cover my "tits" on most of the images on my page. It's all stuff you can see if you see me, or anyone else, walking down the street! There WAS more, but I needed to be more PG. I also keep the content warning up to ensure I don't offend anyone on accident.
I'm conscious of the unfortunate stigma around my work and my "kind". I understand the need for sexuality and the lack of comfort society generally has with it, and I've tried to be as sensitive as I could be without changing who I am.

the problem here is that i come to your thread and half of your original post marketing your stream are lewd pictures that have absolutely nothing to do with the game, and this is met with an overwhelming positive reception(what the fuck? i thought i came to teamliquid)

Well, I don't just stream SC, and some of my pics ARE SC related. They are, however, nerd/gaming related (aside from the ONE model image, marketing my "Supermodel Nerd" handle).
They are, in actuality, PG-13 or less images showing less than you'd see at a beach.

The only thing wrong here is the few people who just cannot get past the tits, and that's all they see her as. YOU are the demeaning ones who just see women with big breasts as "just a set of tits," and YOU are demeaning gamer girls as a whole. Tara is a gamer and an entertainer, in many ways similar to some popular streamers who are in Gold league. DJ Wheat and Total Biscuit get viewers despite not being GM, because they are entertaining and fun to watch. If they ALSO had a set of nice tits, regular people would just see that as a benefit, and something extra to look at. Perverts and sexists would troll and flame due to their inability to see past the tits and realize there's more than that.
Either way, drawing more regular people in to play SC2 is one of the best ways for the community and eSport to grow. A lot of Tara's fanbase doesn't even know what Twitch.tv is, and the fact that her "tits" will be drawing in more members is good for all streamers and games as a whole.

I don't see the big deal. So what even if she was in fact maliciously trying to cash in on nerds by appealing to nerd stereotypes and showing her tits. Is that different then any other eSports company trying to turn a buck? Is it ok to have deceiving marketing campaigns, big capital investment and corporate sponsors that plauge the industry with greasy fat food cause, ya know all gamers are fat nerds? tits = bad, commercial industry = good. Ok, got it. To be honest I'd rather see tits allday then Monster energy cans or hot pocket commercials, maybe that's me.

Hi, I just wanted to say after reading the last few pages, that in my opinion anything to further the grow of eSports within reason, which this obviously is, is great ! Especially since Tara has said that these are mostly new viewers, modeling friends etc, which to be honest, are not the first people I expect to have anything to do with SC2 or video games in general. (sorry if that's a bit stereotypical :p).
Tara also states she has played games all her life, maybe more than a lot of people on TL.net and if she wants to share it then how is that any different from anyone else streaming their games ? Comments likes the ones people have posted here already and will inevitably post more of just seem so ignorant.
Also, Tara, I think you look beautiful!, and from what I have read you are very hard working, I feel kind of inspired to attempt to achieve things myself ! Unforunately I am very lazy :D.
