There's gonna be a full beta guys, and the baneling burrow-move is a Hive upgrade according to the SC2 panel.

that spine crawler rush game didn't work cause the nexus wasn't part of the wall-off, that's why it worked for Nestea. he did expand too

I am very disappointed with Blizzard's lack of creativity regarding the 'new' units.

'New' units:
  • Facelifted firebat (battle helion).
  • Facelifted goliath (war hound).
  • Facelifted defiler that can fly now.
  • Facelifted corsair.
  • Facelifted vulture or at least its mine mechanics.
  • Strange, new concept of lurker.

@Khaldor: I think he said the baneling burrow move is a hive tech upgrade... So detection shouldn't be a problem.

What about proximity movement for those banelings?? You can only move a certain distance from the place that you burrow? That would make the most sense cause as you say, endless movement would be imba.

You are going to have detection everywhere by the time burrowed banelings are an issue since you need turrets for mutas anyway. Protoss should similarly have cannons. Sorry, pretty weak theorycrafting there

It makes more sense if it is hive tech. Makes bainlings even more viable late game. Will be cool to see it in action in beta.
