I think for many years, Italy had become one of the more hated teams because of their defensive play - They really played beautyfully and entertaining. I have gained a ton of respect for italian football after this tournament | ||

Italy did play quite well vs Spain. They did not play well vs Croatia however, hell they can be glad they didn't lose that game iirc. Concerning England, playing 120 minutes without scoring a single goal despite domination hard is just weak. And Germany? Certainly not what I'd call "domination".
