I think for many years, Italy had become one of the more hated teams because of their defensive play - They really played beautyfully and entertaining. I have gained a ton of respect for italian football after this tournament | ||

Italy did play quite well vs Spain. They did not play well vs Croatia however, hell they can be glad they didn't lose that game iirc.
