More like poetic justice =) If you look at the whole tournament, Italy just didn't deserve to be in the finals. The best game they played was vs Germany, and it was mainly considered as such because they scored for a change. Coincidentally it was probably Germany's worst game in this EURO. Italy was just way overrated imho and Spain made that clear today. It's like the wise Reiner "Calli" Calmund recently said: "If every team had to play every other team and those with the most points would have to face each other in the finals it would be Spain vs Germany hands down. In a knockout style tournament like this however, everything can happen."(rough translation) But that's football. | ||
