I'll give you a tip: The team that plays the prettiest football in your personal opinion isn't always the best team. A team that concedes 6 goals in 5 game is definitely not ever in any universe better than one that concedes 1 goal in 6 games. So New Zealand was better than Spain in 2010? I like your football logic. New Zealand didn't win any games. Spain won all their games except one. Germany has won more games than Spain this Euro. So Germany > Spain? God damn, could you decide your way of rating teams please? Is it about games won, goals conceded or what? Okay for people in the cheap seats. A team that wins 3 major tournaments in a row, an unprecedented level of success and didn't concede a single goal in the knockout stages of any of those three tournaments is by far the best team in the world. Far, far superior to a team they've knocked out of two of those tournaments and who can't defend even against the likes of Greece and Denmark.
Spain lost to switzerland.

And?

Does anyone else think that the substitution thing is bullshit?
Since Italy is playing with 10 men due to injury.

Well, Italy did not deserve this score really, and their luck with the injuries has been... abysmal . Don't know how vital was the 3rd substitution but it's always a huge risk to be out of subs for more than half an hour.
|
Congratz Spain. Too bad we had no dreamfinals versus Germany.
Anyways, well played.

Almost as impressive as winning 3 majors in a row, is going 12 knockout games in those tournaments without conceding. That's fucking beastly.

meh, disappointing final. Thought Italien had a chance atleast... Congratulation Spain, major accomplishment winning 3 titles in a row.

No. It's how football is and it only comes back if you take a risk like using all your subs before the 65th minute.
