But they should consider themselves very lucky to have made it that far. totally agree with you. in the end everybody will only remember you are world / euro champion, not that you barely made it out of group stages / quarter / semis anyway though
Barely made it out? They got 7 points in the groups. They beat France easily 2-0, the only lucky thing was the penalties vs Portugal but penalties are definitely not pure luck.

oh wow, now we have the boring final everybody expected. fuck this. italy already gave up themselves

I'll give you a tip: The team that plays the prettiest football in your personal opinion isn't always the best team. A team that concedes 6 goals in 5 game is definitely not ever in any universe better than one that concedes 1 goal in 6 games.
So New Zealand was better than Spain in 2010? I like your football logic.

2 games, Chelsea 3 - 2 Barcelona
therefore, Chelsea was a better team than Barcelona last season.
Germany was in the group of death, not a group with the whipping boys RoI.

Get back onside Pedro! You're fresh enough.

Abate has been shite all game. Take some runs, son. Nothing to lose anymore anyway.

Abit sad that this has turned into a show from Spain now, and not a genuine fight
Gotta hand it to Spain though, they are really showing their class this game

I applaud Spain for a beautiful game. I was cheering for Italy, but its totally deserved Spain wins (or does win in a few minutes). Congratulations to all Spanish people out there !

You could remove his two goals from the tournament, wouldn't change a thing
Don't get me wrong, I think Torres should have been played more... the fact is he hasn't been given a chance to do anything.

New Zealand didn't win any games. Spain won all their games except one.

I'm not too familiar with soccer/football, why can't Italy sub out their injured player?

Germany has won more games than Spain this Euro. So Germany > Spain? God damn, could you decide your way of rating teams please?
Is it about games won, goals conceded or what?

Arbeloa totally justifying his teammates that dont play him much, rofl.

Watching in the US is soo much different than watching in Germany

Let's just accept that Germany made a handful of critical mistakes vs. Italy that resulted in their loss. I blame that on the line-up.

Torres will never win then. He did score the opening goal against ireland, so wasn't like it was just 2 goals after ireland gave up.
And torres scores now.
