the way to beat Spain (like the way you beat Barcelona) is to /defend and /counter with pace. Nani and Ronaldo have the pace, and they have an ok back 3 (if u discount Periera ) Chelsea beat Barca the same way with Ramires Drogba Mata counter attacking. Russia posed a mini threat at one stage to Spain doing the same as well. Also don't forget, this is a Semi Final, there wont be many goals in either game. has actually watched the games, understands how the game is played, knows the players and the playstyles, etc. You know when someone is massively biased if he says any team other than germany is even close to Spain.. Doesn't mean they can't be beat, just that they are rightly the favorites to win.

And you're pretty clueless if you think Portugal has even close to the same quality as Spain has. POrtugal is more like NL in that regard they have some class players I.e ronaldo nani pepe etc. complimented with some decent players I.e postiga. While Spain just has top players on every position. Maybe it's not sparkling yet but I don't feel they've been playing 100% yet because they don't really have to.

Of course it would help the worldwide recognition of some of the Portuguese players if they played alongside Messi in club competitions.

@ warding the argument I made about the weakness of NL is widely known and has been there since before wc 2010 and it's probably something all small countries will have. And in NL everybody was already worried and nobody really thought we were going to cruise past anyone..

It may not have been your point but his was obviously that you are talking out of your crapper/being ignorant when it comes to the Portuguese team. It doesn't refute what you said but it makes you come off like someone not worth listening to, just throwing a few talking points out there without much behind it.
