Anyway, I've been wondering about this, if we'd put the winner of the Champion's League against Spain (for example), how would that go? National team almost has no chance against top clubs. Lets say Spain/Germany/Holland vs Barcelona/Real Madrid/ ManU(assume that you can duplicate player so clubs play at their full strenght) Because clubs are like all-star team with un-limit players pool and a nation has quite limited option. Just look at ManC, basically a team that have to fight for relegation but with alot of money they became the EPL champion in like 3 seasons. I would favor the Spanish national team over ManCity any day.

Pretty much because of Messi lol. It would still go the same way, but Spain would struggle even more to score if at all. Just because Chelsea has beaten Barcelona last time doesn't mean they would be favourites if they would repeat the game right now. Ask the bookies.

I didnt say they wouldnt be favourites, I said they would struggle to score, and the current Spain will struggle to score, any team would.
Believe me you wont find a bigger supporter of the way they play then me. Doesnt change the fact that putting it past a wall of 10 is hard, atleast without a Messi or more realistically a Villa.

Absolutely, I really think that Messi performing so well in Barca has obscured the fact that losing David Villa is horrific for them...well you can see that they didn't win the league but aside from that it plainly does harm Barca. Losing David Villa for the national team is even worse. Man, what a shitty pointless game to get your leg broken in as well.
