tinman was just temp banned for 2 weeks by Kennigit. That account was created on 2007-05-15 11:55:39 and had 171 posts. Reason: Cool down brah Just another nerd raging because his favorite player lost? No, check this out: On February 16 2010 04:20 tinman wrote: This tournament was better for having him in it. The SC:BW scene is better for having him in it. And all you fuckers out there experiencing such glee after his loss need to fuck off and go find another hobby (especially: BiffTheUnderstudy and polarwolf who are both clearly struggling with the strangeness of their own homoerotic ardor towards Idra and need to find a more positive channel for expressing it than this public bathing in the teamliquid tub of Idra-schadenfreude that we've currently go going on here and which doesn't exactly reflect well on our community). Perhaps over the top, but definitely one of the most entertaining flames I've seen in a while. Thought I might share ![]()

Crunchums was just temp banned for 2 days by Kennigit. That account was created on 2008-12-06 16:29:00 and had 4848 posts. Reason: This is the beginning of the purge. Things have become really slack around here. The firestorm is coming. Once i recover from TSL finals its judgement day (again). Get ready for it. (ps this 2 day is for your 2 word post)

The fact is if you make a good OP, the comments don't matter, and if you host a livestream, the chat doesn't matter either. We don't live in Utopia where people only speak when they have something interesting to say. The next best thing is to ignore them. The worst thing you can do is whine about them (because that's kind of like arguing with a 10 year old kid... don't even bother, it's a waste of time). Take MDTs example and just be an untouchable God who makes awesome things. Yeah sure, but you're OP's aren't a service to anyone. They are topics or things you wish to discuss. Occasionally it might be something of use that is a service. But when you're streaming you are performing a valuable, time-consuming task every single time. Expecting to be thanked is reasonable. Being flamed is not.

Streamers are fucking incredible great and deserve respect, so when they get pissed about the chat going on we should listen, but at the same time it doesn't seem that hard to ignore livestream chat. I would imagine 90% of the people on it are just trolls anyways given the anonymous nature of it all. I say just post c.zeroboy links for LR threads and in the TL sidebar. I think that will stop alot of the crappy idiots who end up finding TL from 4chan and end up clicking a tv.zeroboy link...

Just make the concentrate stream default and people can talk on TL IRC if they want. I don't see the problem with that.
