One of the unique challenges with the EU Store was the fact that we had never originally planned to produce products in Europe. Thus, we had to find suppliers and manufacturers who would allow us to make products that were as close to identical as possible to our NA products. We looked at the American Apparel version available in Europe, but it was far too expensive after customization. The solution was to order a bespoke (custom tailored) hoodie, which used the same materials of our original and had the exact same model and cut. While the TL logo on the breast is larger than the US hoodie, it is otherwise completely identical to our US product
Opening our European store was a valuable experience in learning how to manufacture products from two locations. Going forward, we will be able to prepare for both NA and EU production from the earliest stages of production, and thanks to our great partners, manufacture products that are identical in both regions.
Launching the store is just half of the job. The challenge of maintaining and improving the EU Store lays ahead of us. Europe offers plenty of opportunities and we will do our best to improve your experience and make our products available in more countries. We can finally say it business is open in Europe.
Hell yes, just sent out my order as well I think in order to redeem the posters you have to complete the checkout process first, the rebate shows up in the final step before ordering.

Currently only EU member countries can order from the EU store. We are adding other European countries in the future after we determine whether there are additional taxes or import duties.
Mmmh I'm not able to pay without creating a paypal account... Is it normal ?
When I get on the Paypal page, there's the form to pay without creating an account, but when I change the Country to France, it changes the form and it's a sign up form....

Royal Mail (domestic mail) or FedEx, depending which is most cost efficient at the time of shipping.
I am confused by the sizes. My business shirts are size 39, slim fit. Should I order a hoodie in M or in S? Maybe someone with a better grasp of clothing sizes could help me out here :|

The hoodie is slim fit too, I'm 182cm 76kg and M is really snug on me but I like that a lot. If you are worried about S being too small you should probably get M just because the hoodie is slim fit.
Will the orders be limited to these sizes, or are we able to order other sizes? Especially seeing that with 196cm/6'6"~ the XL is just too small on a hoodie.

Well I have been waiting to purchase the TSL4 t-shirt, if it shows up in the EU store you can have my money
The TSL4 shirt won't be available from the EU Store unfortunately.
Unfortunate isn't the word. That shirt is real nice, so I thought I'd wait for the EU store to open to order one, and decided that while I'm not really that interested in getting one, a free poster for not much more shipping would be good so bought TSL+ on the basis of that. While it's just $10 wasted it's still a kick in the knackersack.
Can I proxy my free poster to the first person to use carriers in the next GSL please?

We'll be investigating non-EU member countries in the future, it depends on the local import taxes and duties. We don't want to have you order your items only to be charged another 50% once they arrive in your country (yes, this has happened).

Our warehouse is based in the UK, so I imagine it would be pretty fast! Due to the volume of orders it may take a while to get everything shipped out from the initial batch though. I would imagine next week early / mid week.

This is geographical Europe, not EU and not single market of EU (EU + Lichtenstein + Iceland + Norway which I guess should avoid additional taxes...)? You should use this one http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Union

It's a lot cheaper to order the EU products, even with the high shipping fee.
Formula: (product + shipping) + (duty + VAT) + customs fee. YMMV; different EU countries have different duty limits, VAT limits and handling fees.
This is very misleading, for most purchases from the store I wouldn't receive any duty tax thus EU store is more expensive.
No what i write is pretty much correct. Duty is 12% on clothing. The USA store is 50-100% more expensive. You're obviously making quite the miscalculation if you say that could be more expensive You're right that you shouldn't pay duty on orders of this size (150e is common minimum in EU), but the courier often charges it anyway.

However how do I get the TSL+ 5% discount? I've checked that my account is linked, I've got the free LiquidRising poster fine but no discount appears after the check-out.
I know you guys sell really small numbers but you did very poorly in terms of shipping. I don't know about US but it's a standard practice to pay only ONCE for a shipping, unless a package is heavy. Therefore -50% on next item's shipping fee is not a one bit compelling. Not to mention base costs of shipment are absurdly high while being within EU only. I'll wait with my purchase until you fix that
Mmmh, I was wondering if the Starcraft edition sold in the store are still valid. It still says "Pre-Purchase", anything changed in the meantime or they can count as post release version ? (I think yes, but want to be sure).

Not to EU. Only to Germany. The EU store has 20% VAT included on the product. US -> Germany have 0 because Germany doesn't charge VAT on packages under 45euro. Here the limit is 12e. It's just a matter of how big your order is.
Also it's not 19,92e, it's 26,75e.
Edit: Actually that's only for private-private shipping. Commercial shipping (like buying a product from a store) is limited at 22e.
- 19 euro is not equal to 22 dollars. America store is cheaper. - America store sends to Turkey. Europe store doesn't. - Shipping is almost the same. There is a 1 dollar difference.
R1CH, I would really like to buy stuff from you guys, so I tried the North American store. However, when i want to check out and get to the Paypal site, as soon as I switch my country to "Switzerland", I can no longer pay without creating an account. According to some websites (e.g http://www.zen-cart.com/content.php?275-why-cant-my-customers-pay-without-having-a-paypal-account) this is something you guys can adjust in your paypal account.
Is there a possibility you guys can fix this? I know it works on other websites, so I know it's not a general problem with my country, but rather with the paypal settings.
I really don't understand how adding Norway would be a problem. We're not part of the EU, but we are part of the EEA, which really should qualify us in this case. I have bought goods from EU countries several times, and I've never had any problem with "extra taxes". We are part of the EU common market, so I don't quite get why you assumed there would be any issues.
Yeah it seems a bit odd. I know this is probably the busiest the store will be as it's just opened, so I guess it will take a while to get through all of the orders, but it doesn't seem like they've started shipping any of them yet, a full working week after orders have been placed.
Yeah that is what I meant, so it doesn't really matter when the postal service operates when nothing has been shipped O_o I understand if they are busy because they just opened, but I received my order confirmation 8 days ago already.
I'm waiting for the EU Store to open since October. And when it finally opens it takes half a month at least to send it to me. That is really disappointing. I see that you are busy, and it's not that easy to handle all the orders. But it seems like nothing happened the last 1.5 weaks. Can someone at least give us some updates on the status? Or did someone already got the shipment confirmation?
how long is the shipping time ? i would like to have a hoodie and T-shirt for next sunday, could i have it if i order right now or tomorow in the morning ?

People who ordered last Thursday haven't had items dispatched yet, so I doubt it,
There are some integration issues with our distributor, things have been moving a little slowly but all the orders should be sent out in the next couple of days. The majority of the early orders already shipped last week, but due to an issue with the data sharing, the order status page will remain on 'pending shipment'.
My order arrived today as well. Nice delivery time, packaging and all that. Loving the hoodie!
This might be mentioned somewhere else but couldn't find it, so I'll just ask. The Spirit shirt I recieved seem a litte differnet from the one shown on the website. Coloring, size of the logo and whatnot. Is this due to having another manufacturer for the shirts in the EU? Or maybe it's the exact same and I'm imagining things
I got my stuff two days ago . The horse-logo shirts was really nice and seems high quality and great fit. The hoodie though was to small . I ordered the same size for T-shirt as i did the hoodie, but to hoodie is way smaller if i place them on top of each other. Are they supposed to be like that? Added a picture to illustrate. It's the blue spirit shirt with the hoodie on top, and as you can see the shirt is both 2-3cm wider and probably 4-5cm longer. http://i.imgur.com/jINtR5r.jpg
Well, I guess I just have to order a bigger one. Nothing wrong with supporting TL a little more
In my experience it can take up to 3 weeks until something can arrive from the uk. My hoodie and shirt arrived today (germany). Ordered them on the 25.03 at 23:20. I didnt expect them to arrive this fast. Thanks to those that are involved with the uk store and the hard workers there! Please send them my wishes!
Regarding the fitting Im 175 cm tall and my weight is around 65kg. I usally wear s(slim fit) formfitting clothes. The fit of the shirt and hoddie are perfect for that. I ordered both in S. Only my arms are a bit to short for the hoodie but i have to live with them. + Show Spoiler +
Sorry about the bad quality. I can take better pictures later if someone wants.
I don't want to be annoying, but I ordered my stuff at the 14th of March in the evening. And I still did not get my order for around 100 bucks. I live in Germany too. Should I be worried? Can someone check, where the order is? I know I should be patient, but the uncertainty is killing me.

I'm 183cm and 80kg. Normally M will fit me just fine, but not with the TL-hoodie. I will order a L instead as soon as I have the money for it. Weirdly enough the arms wasn't a problem at all for me, they where actually quite long. Felt like someone had taken the arms from an L-sized hoodie and attached onto an S. For the T-shirt M was a perfectly good fit.

I was talking about my own arms on my body that are too short. Sorry if this wasnt clear. The arms on the hoodie are maybe 3 cm to long for me but thats nitpicking from my side. Heres a pic of the washing tips inside the hoodie if someone is interested in them. + Show Spoiler +

Im actually 182 cm 78kg and the M hoodie fits me great. At first it was really tight and I had thoughts about getting an L but I wore it for a day or two and it certainly loosed up a bit. Now Im sure M was the right size for me. Give it a try for a couple of days

Nevermind. I just got my package. Thanks for the offer. I am happy now I am 174cm and weight around 75kg and M fits just fine. But I'm on the upper end I would say, so if you are bigger/heavier go for L.
I believe the hoodie line is quite slim, its obvious in the TL store photo and most of the guys here are about at the right kilos and or are somewhat lower. I would suggest getting a size larger than you usually take if youre at about the right kilos or a bit more. The sleeves for Large are quite long. In general the Large tshirt fits me fine but the hoodie is a bit tight...
Is it possible to still get the Liquid Rising Poster? I didn't donate when Liquid Rising was released, but I'm willing to do now if it still enables me to get one. Also I'm curious about the Hoody. I am 187cm at 84kg and after checking the size chart I thought M would be a good fit, but after reading other peoples posts with similar stats L might be the better choice. I already have two shirts from the American shop, one in M and one in L; the M one fits perfectly while the L one is a little bit too big. Is this in any way relevant when determining my Hoody size?

I would suggest you go for an L. Even if an M might be wide enough if you are slim, I would still guess on it being a bit short for 187cm. I think it's just on the limit of being to short for me, and you are 4-5cm longer. The sleeves might be quite long on the L though if you have shorter arms.
I live in Switzerland, and while not in the EU, we do have a bilateral trade agreement with the EU which enables us to basically the same economic freedoms as if we were a full member.
I would really like you to enable Switzerland for the shop soon, as I'd very much like to order some things. Would be nice if you could make an announcement once you have enabled additional countries.
I`m dealing with courier shipment for over 8 years now, so I have a bit of experience in this area. As someone mentioned before there is a value limit for duty free import for most of the countries outside EU. For some countries it may be 200 eur, for some as low as 15 eur. To avoid delays and duties and taxes the best way is to send the shipment with pro-forma invoice for no more than 5-10 eur and in description of goods to write "samples" or "gift". This should avoid problems at customs in any european country with execption of Russia, where everything different from documents is held at customs and VAT + duty has to be paid.

Can you maybe arrange to sell some merchandise at Dreamhack Open? I know Jinx had a store at the venue and if you're already doing it with Meltdown, why not?
So I'm starting to be a bit anxious, I did order some stuff for like €80 on march 14th, and I still haven't received anything. The Order Status says COMPLETE Your order has been sent to our warehouse for shipping.
I live in Sweden and after reading that a lot of other people from Sweden have received their stuff I wonder where are my?
Yes the phone number is supplied to the shipper so they should be able to call you if any difficulties arise. I'd give it another few days and if your order still doesn't show up, use the contact us link to get in touch with our support.
Yeahh! Received it today. The hoodie (M Size) fits me really well. I'm 172cm 65kg. Except when you put the hood on your head ... suddenly it feels like its really short. I usually wear hoodies with large hood, but this one is kinda small. maybe it's a different style.
First off, I ordered: Hoodie, L T-shirt Spirit, M T-shirt Winged Horse, M TL Pin 2x Keycaps
Order date: 5th of april Date of payment pulled from account: 9th of april Date of delivery: 15th of april. Conclusion: With 4 days from the 5th to the 15th being weekends, very satisfied.
The items and the fitting I am 1.94, 70-72 kg. (Yes tall and skinny).
The T-shirts are surprisingly well fitting IMO, I usually have trouble getting fitting T-shirts, but these were really nice, and medium was pretty long. Nice print and lovely dark blue color (on the spirit shirt).
The Hoodie has very long arms, even for me, but the length of the hoodie overall isn't that much. Personal preference would be for the hoodie to be 2-3 cm's longer. The fitting of the hoodie is very snug and lovely. The hood itself could benefit from being bigger, I will never wear the hood on me head because of the size of it, and the white string from the hoodie could be shorter.
I can't quite figure out which row the keycaps are supposed to sit on. My Quickfire Rapid TKL and my 6GV2 all have higher keycaps on the esc key. So I don't feel they have the right dimension. Oh well.
