GSL OCT/BLIZZCON 2011, COMMUNITY VIEWING EVENTS
We are proud to announce that on Friday, October 21st, 2011 E-Sports Canada will be broadcasting the GSL Oct Finals & Saturday, October 22nd, we will be showing BLIZZCON 2011 at SENCA PUB and INFINTI INTERNET CAFE.
The venues are at the same location (Peanut Plaza) and will have the streams on both days! If you are planning on coming down it will defiantly be worth it. There is plenty of room with a capacity of 225 people at the pub and 50 people at Infiniti cafe.
WHEN:
Friday, October 21st, 2011 from 10:00pm until 2:00am (Time are subject to change)
Must be 19 + to attend this event due to the times.
&
Saturday, October 22, 2011 from 1:00pm until 9:00pm (Time are subject to change)
You do not need to be 19+ to attend this event, if you are an E-Sports fan please join us!

+ Show Spoiler +If you are a Grand Master and plan on attending the event, we want to let you know that you are entitled to a free pitcher of your choice! It's our way of showing we appreciate the skills and practice required to be a GM. For all you guys do, this one's for you  All you need to do is approach the master of ceremonies, Mario aka Galleon.frigate and he will get you your free pitcher! Easy as that, we would like to see as many Grand Masters as possible come out and support the event. If you are not a GM yet there's always next time.
This event is FREE, come enjoy the games!:
+ Show Spoiler + Traditionally our Theatre\Bar events are free of charge. NO tickets will be sold. just come in and join the party! However, we are always incurring out of pocket expenses. We truly appreciate every donation, big or small. All money is put towards covering the costs of hosting the event and to making future e-Sports events even bigger & better, no profit is made. The donation box will be somewhere at the bar, PLEASE SHOW YOUR SUPPORT.
Transportation:
+ Show Spoiler + If you are driving to the event and have extra space in your car please PM me. If you need to be picked up, please don't be shy, post in the thread. I’ll also add any carpooling info down below. How do you get there via TTC: + Show Spoiler +1. Go east to Don Mills Station.
2. Go to the bus terminal, transfer to the 25 Don Mills; make sure you go to the NORTHBOUND platform.
3. Take the 25 Don Mills to Deerford Road. (5 minute ride)
4. Cross the street and walk towards the "Peanut Plaza"; There will be signs out pointing you to the bar

Awesome. I'll definitely be there on Friday night.
Since this venue is somewhat out of the way, and the last southbound train on the Yonge line (from Sheppard) runs at 1:20am, I'll be driving; which means carpooling!

If you've never been to Seneca Pub (and chances are you haven't because it's brand spanking new) it is a pretty sweet bar with tvs all over the place and a SICKLY huge projector screen. Pool tables, dart boards and fooz ball if I remember correctly means that during downtime you can either play standard games or run over to play a few sick matches of sc2.
This is gonna be HUGE. I highly recommend. This has the Ruskie stamp of approval, this event is going to be the best yet...assuming there will not be any network outages hahahah!

Fuck yeah. s1 master terran here although I just started playing again and hellish rusty and my strategies are completely out of date.
Dude if you want to get there, just bus the one at 10pm on the Go Bus 47 East to York U and then take the 60 Steeles Bus to Finch and work your way from there. (Cost: $24-28 round-trip) or if youre thinking of the saturday one, there's a yorkdale terminal one that makes getting to Don mills even easier, only perk is that the buses run every hour :\.
Also definitely going to this barcraft on saturday :3, never been to one, this will make my weekend after finishing off midterms on Friday and handing in a paper by midnight :p

Planning to show up on Friday night and/or Saturday (finally), will have 1-2 free seats in my car if someone needs a quick lift. I'll be around Yonge/Finch area if someone is too lazy to take the TTC =P Oh and no worries as a driver I won't be drinking alcohol, safe drive =)

I was there on Friday and I had a blast. The venue is nice and there is plenty of space.
A lot of people had trouble spotting the place but it's right beside Canadian Thrift Store. See you all there on Saturday.

Had a great time last night, would come again today if I wasn't so busy.
The setup was really sick, huge screen, awesome sound, tons of space. Also the $10 pitchers of creemore was pretty choice.
Getting there by TTC wasn't too bad. took about 40 min from downtown. Getting back at 3am would have sucked (big thanks to Eric for the ride)

The owner/manager of the pub is a really nice guy, nice food, nice price. Should make another event and try to get more ppl into it. Suck's most (all?) of my friends don't play SC2. =(
