It's an interesting point though, but I don't think Joedaddy was every really able to prove with evidence that the inconsistency that he alleges exists... actually exists. I think what's clear is that he feels uncomfortable, but unfortunately, we can't accommodate everyone's feelings all the time.
In part, I think where Joedaddy and I (at least) would disagree on this point, is that Joedaddy has equated religious belief with unchangeable biological truths like sex and gender. Yet this is a poor comparison, because while one may choose to subscribe to Catholicism, Lutheranism, Mormonism, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Animism, or any other religious world view; one cannot choose to be female or male, gay, straight, or anything in between. Thus where I think Joedaddy misses the point is that religious belief is a question of human choice and is thus open to debate and questioning. However, sexuality and gender are (usually) not subject to human choice and thus we protect people from being objectified or challenged on these characteristics.
But overall, I think the most important point to make is that this is a website about starcraft, and that TL really isn't the right venue to discuss matters of faith in any meaningful detail.

Thanks to the Staff for taking time to discuss these things with me. I do appreciate your time and consideration.
Treehugger (and others) are right. I don't have a batch of evidence to support my belief that the standards on mocking/making fun of/etc religion are incredibly lenient. I do feel that over time I could compile a rather large list of posts doing just that with no moderation. I don't think that would help my position though.
I guess in closing, I would just say the following:
I understand the history behind the current policy on religion threads. I agree that discussing religion on the internet is border line impossible to do without flame wars breaking out and turning the thread into a cess pool. However, I think in the interest of equality a forum thread dedicated to a specific religious group to find each other and "hang out" on bnet, MLG's, etc could work. I'm not asking for a thread of content where religious people try to convert the world of TL, argue against opposing beliefs or non-beliefs. I'm only asking for the same thing the Gay Starcraft players have. A thread where like minded people can find each other. Mod headings at the top of threads seem to work quite well, and I feel like a mod warning to stay out of the thread if they are just there to derail it would do wonders.
Regardless of what you believe when it comes to God or the name you call him, I know that the general public here at TL doesn't support discrimination against any 1 group of people. TL Staff, please consider allowing religious groups to open a single thread dedicated solely to people who share a common belief to find each other and have the opportunity to come together to enjoy the one thing we can all agree on, E-Sports!
Thanks again for your time and consideration.

How do you guys feel about the entire SS business? I though it was pretty bad but still slightly open to debate.

I want to say Mani is the oldest. Also exactly in the middle of the staff ages is semioldguy That might actually be pretty close to accurate.

Considering his join date, I´d assume its more "GTR mocking" then anything else

GTR has always been, and will always be, 15 on TL.

Can someone tell me why Combat-Ex made another apology video last year around October? I missed the scene and was not aware of it. I am just curious.
