This is a thread akin to the gays in starcraft thread, it's a sub group of a small community.
They aren't trying to pass laws and be isolationist, they're creating a loose network of friends of people who more than likely have had similar experiences.
Even if they haven't it's cool for people like me, who are curious about women in SC2, after having seen mention of flo as well as slayers_eve, and are looking for other girls.

Oh for heaven's sake, why do we care so much? How does this alienate or separate? If girls wish to find each other to play games, how else would they go about it except by utilizing the premier SC forum? And do they need the express permission from males to do it, just in case they might be "getting uppity" and "drawing too much attention to themselves"? I, for one, didn't know there were GM female players.
