A Korean must not win MLG.

Gogo Team EG. Please the fans ^^ Wish I lived in SoCal, not much happens in NorCal in terms of fun e-sports related events.

Haven't you seen them lately? They've been working out.

They're probably running on a treadmill while playing SC2, etc.

Let's be honest, I don't think any of them run on treadmills...

Lol imagine you have a local LAN and all of a sudden, IdrA, Demu, INc etc show up and take all the first spots. At the same time that's probably a cool story to tell :D
GL to EG at Anaheim, hope you can finally win a big tourney Incontrol, big fan!

this is exactly what they are doing. it reaks of fear, but it's a step in the right direction. when i heard about this months ago, i thought they were going to do an entire month. a week is better than nothing i guess.

How does it reek of fear. It's a fun little public thing where you can see their players and possibly interact. I highly doubt this is designed as a super serious training scheme. Doing that in public is rather counter productive.

Why must everyone hate. If I was in America and in the area this would be an awesome opportunity.

Forums are truly an impossible medium to addressing some of the claims people make. Once I answer one, another one pops up and it just becomes this endless cycle of monotony!

Anyways, do you feel it's fair to make the claim that an entire team consisting of people like IdrA, DeMusliM, iNcontroL, and four others would determine it to be appropriate to practice together only for one week prior to such a major event like MLG Anaheim?

Would it not be a safer bet to assume they've been practicing for quite some time together and that the Odyssey Gaming Center's Verizon SC2 tournament is just a supplement to that practice?

Gotta be honest, bootcamp in china sounded way more badass. SirScoots make it happen! 24h gameplay a day, eat and sleep while playing for improved multitasking. :D

"Do or do not, there is no try."

Remember these wise words from (T)Yoda and just go. My only regret after attending the NASL finals is that I waited so long before I finally attend a StarCraft event. The experience is not one that can be captured in words, nor photos, nor videos. You have to be there to understand.

Will EG also attend the SoCal LAN at whittier, August 6th?
Thank God and gunrun.

eg showing how serious their training is by taking a few days out to do a fan meet and greet at the worst possible time.

well that lasted about 1 day

Can you not read?

They are training, allowing a few fans to visit won't change that.

God forbid they take a 30 minute break.

its not called a break if you havent even started yet when you take it.

they are going to some low level local lan to show off how much they can beat people who only play for fun, that wont help them beat koreans at mlg will it?

What are you even talking about? Incontrol has repeatedly said the training for MLG is actually starting pretty much now. He said on his stream they would be starting this bootcamp 3 weeks before MLG. Its starting in Arizona. With this announced they are just gonna be in Cali a week early, competing at the Verizon lan (which is bigger than you think, Sen said he will be playing in it too), and continuing the bootcamp in Cali.

I will only be satisfied if somebody becomes visibly agitated, throws up, falls into a coma or starts hearing voices.

Uncle Sam says "What are you doing to prepare for the Great War MLG Anaheim?"
