While gaming forums usually make me lose faith in gamer-humanity, this forum has restored it somewhat. Bio: I'm a designer working mostly against printed media these days, though I have dabbled in most genres; typography, 3D, web, a dash of coding, video production... Always wanted to work with game design, but I was born and raised in Norway and never had the ambition to move abroad. I used to be a WC2 modder as a kid (loved that game) but had to end my total conversion due to a 'cease and desist letter' from a big scary company – ended up deleting everything in panic, something I regret now. Also did some work on the Unreal engine (the first one!), won some mapping and skinning contests, mostly due to 'creative scripting' which I just added as extra fluff, noone even noticed the effort I put in on making the gameflow and replayability as smooth as possible. The maps are still being played though, so I eventually got the recognition I craved when it didn't matter anymore. Hoping to get the time to learn the galaxy editor one day and churn out some generic, seemingly boring maps with that extra something noone can put their finger on.
