I believe the reason you have this thread open is for exposure of the homosexual community. Just like every other thread here it would be much appreciated if you consider the rest of the general populoous when you post.
It is heartening to see that some of the gay guys here are actually engaging in proper conversations whilst some others are letting a little too much of their bedroom stories out of the stack.
As a straight male, I'll admit it took me awhile to get cosy with the whole gay thing. Live and let live is the motto of the story and if I can't drop by this thread for a casual read on how my queer friends are doing... whats the purpose of this even existing?

As i was walking out the other day and i saw a really nice looking guy, i looked at him and he looked back. When i was behind him, i turned my head to see if he would turn too and he did. But this was only to ask me a cigarette. I gave him it and he asked me for my appartment number so he could give a cigarette back to me later. (Who does that ? Does it mean anything or am i just so depressed i want to see things happening when they're not ?)
He didn't show up unfortunately but i wonder what could i have done if he did ?
Would you ask him if he's gay ? Say something funny or ask him if he wants to drink something ? How do you do it ?

I'd go with the drink. It's easy enough to pass off as drinking buds (which is how you should view it at first anyway) and not a date. If both of yall are gay, it'll come up through the natural progression of getting to know each other. And if he's not gay, you just got an awesome new drinking buddy.
Although I will admit that there's nothing worse than being friend zoned by your straight best friend. It's REALLY hard to deal with that.

Awww I feel for you. I guess it's bad (or good?) enough that he seemed to be interested then sending mixed signals. I think it's still good to be friends with him whether he's straight or not. Some great friendships start from the strangest beginnings. So get onto it and keep us posted
