Long time since i started a thread in the General Forum.. wow!
In anycase: i'm going to Gamescom (Cologne, Germany) which goes on from Aug.18th - 22nd. I will be staying an extra week and leaving on Aug.30th!
Who from TL.net is heading to Gamescom? Perhaps we can have a TL.net meet-up!

Only a few months. TL is growing so fast now that things need to be broken down to make it manageable. So many new faces.

This sounds awesome! As SC2 is already out now I was trying to think of a reason to go to GamesCom this year. But now I got one.

I'll be there for thursday and friday, maybe saturday. Spending night at GamescomCamp.
If it's gonna be meetup in first two days i'll show up.

I live in Cologne so I could plan some stuff or make reservations. I suppose people would want to go for food and drinks on friday and saturday? Maybe even sunday? Tell me what you guys want.
Edit: I actually know a really good mexican restaurant thats not far away fromt the exhibition area. It's very popular though. So we would need to book pretty soon, especially when we are going to have a big group.

Just a little heads up if you want to do a TL meetup you gotta arrange stuff for it. If you don't pre-book stuff you will be walking around with 100 people not being able to get in anywhere.

i doubt we will be 100 ppl.. there are 15 signed up so far... i dont think the group will be bigger than 20 ppl, if at all.
still some kind of arrangement would be good of course

We're 10 days out most people can't plan that far ahead. Yes you will end up with a group of 50 people if you want to. It was 100 people last time at WCG in germany, TL is about 6 times bigger than we were then.

How many people signed up in advance for the meetup last time? I guess its going to change as soon as we have some more concrete plans.
I just called the mexican place and they can take up to 200 people. They also have a seperate room for around 20 people. If the group stays that small we can book that one. But I guess even if suddenly 100 people show their interest I could make an reservation for 100 people.
