I took one look at the mathnews article, turned to a friend of mine (who by chance, works with mathnews) and aksed who the heck this guy thought he was. Really didn't think that was appropriate, especially considering most of it was just wrong or unfair.

Little bit of information for the curious:
32 players, 19 Diamond, 8 Platinum, 2 Silver, 1 Bronze, and 1 guy who hasn't completed placements (what)
9 players with close to 1000 Diamond points or over
I wasn't paying full attention, but I'm fairly certain that most of the field is Protoss. I only remember seeing like 3-4 Zergs, and one of them was the Bronze guy.
Bracket should be up as soon as we get Bnet information from the last guy (which is why the league count only adds up to 31).
Hope to see most of you guys on Wednesday!

anyway: UWgamer should have more restriction on who can join the thing... or at least split out the level so 1k diamond dun have to vs bronze level... Also, try to organize it in MC lounge since you cant provide wired connection in SLC (i know its sever based but still, wired provide you safer connection vs wireless, my laptop cant run sc2 wireless >.<)

Part of having it in the SLC is, I believe, visibility. ASUS is sponsering this tournament after all, we need to make it worth their while.
