I love playing against an eager pudge beacuse that feeling when he hooks waaay off cuz you juke like a pro is awesome TO add to the QQs: My all time favourite hero is Windrunner. I've played her 4 games "straight" now (one game void cuz sum1 randomed and didnt want void). I've lost all games... It's totally not my fault either. I've gone solo hard lane all 4 games beacuse the others picked that way. I haven't fed (OK maybe one of the games) and did pretty well hard lane. It's just that my teammates feed like CRAZY  It sucks, cuz I play a pretty swell WR, but I never profit from it cuz WR is kinda dependent on the rest of the team knowing how to play http://dotabuff.com/players/15081895/matches | ||

I see a lot of these posts from folks, yet all my experiences have been positive and people don't mind that I am not top tier at the game. These stories sound like people complaining after they are kicked out of a bar for "no reason". | ||

If a Pudge goes on you at low levels it is entirely possible for a lot of heroes to just man fight him. If you want to beat a Pudge pick a strong ranged mid hero (QoP, Puck, Tinker, etc) and harass him a lot. His low starting armor makes him very vulnerable to harass and if you can avoid getting hooked (high ground wards help a lot with that once nighttime rolls around) then you are golden. | ||

It's the 2 pudge phases, if you lost on the first, there's nothing you can do to catch up. i really cant think of a MU mid in which pudge has an advantage. mb against heroes with super low MS like zeus or crystal maiden? zone his ass, hide behind creeps and be careful when you're on his side of the river, pay attention to which lane he is about to gank and warn your team mates - bam, pudge has been shut down and is now useless for the rest of the game. any _decent_ mid hero wins easily against pudge. good mid heroes like storm,qop,puck,mag etc simply wreck pudge mid | ||

I'm Ursa in a not too hard lane, i'm farming decently. After a while i get left pretty much alone with the exception of constant NS and CK + Wisp ganks. From minute 8 or so, our BH and Prophet flames me. "OMG URSA WHY HAVEN'T U KILLED ROSHAN YET?!?!" I reply it´s warded. "DO SOMETHING URSA WE ARE ROAMING AND GANKING WTF ARE YOU DOING?!" So after like 5minutes of this, i go for rosh, knowing that it is probably warded - surprise it´s warded and i get killed quickly. "OMG GO FOR ROSH WHEN ITS WARDED FUCKING NOOB" yeah fine that was dumb, but i kinda only did it since you were constantly whining about me not doing rosh. I'm a little behind on farm now so i just continute to farm but CK + wisp teleport to me whenever the CD is down and our entire forest is warded. They get me once out of like 3-4 attempts but every attempt interrupts my farming. "OMG URSA U FREEFARM ALL GAME AND I HAVE MORE ITEMS THEN YOU!?!?" I reply that CK and wisp ganks me constantly, and that he has 4 track kills - ofcourse he has good gold. This continues for 45minutes or so. Prophet keeps trying to splitpush when there is nothing to be seen on the minimap(aka he dies 5 seconds after teleporting to a lane), pudge can´t land a hook to save his life - even when we are chasing a guy, i run out of his way, he has a clear straight path to go for the hook - and he doesn´t. Finally he hooks, misses, and guess what? Prophet: gg ursa blocking pudge´s hook. ..... I deliberately moved out of his way, for like 10 seconds so he could hook - still get flamed. BH roams knowing they have two gems and dies horribly? Flames ursa for not ganking or doing anything. And this continues for the entire game. "URSA FARM ALL GAME OMG USELESS" when i´ve joined just about every teamfight(even though i shouldn´t, i should´ve just farmed since i was underfarmed) and get focused down by all 5 every, single, time and die instantly. Even with BKB since everyone else just eats tide's stun and i´m 1vs5 for a few seconds and just drop like a sack of shit. Like what bugged me the most was that 90% of the flames were just completely wrong and made no sense. And the irony was that i had one less K + A then BH for just about the entire game. I know there is no way to reason with idiots like this, but goddamn, what the fuck was that. I'm sure prophet, BH and pudge were a three stack since they all did horribly and i ate the flames for everything. | ||
