It's not ok if he was ganking TA type. its generally a bad idea
you dont need to have max psi blades to harass meepo out of lane, you can simply just outlane him before he gets level 6 and blow him up with meld before he hits 11

We have enough semi carries and carries. Randomed. Got sniper.. awesome.. teammates get CK and DK two blockheads proceed to pick QOP (meh) and Luna (wtf?) No courier... no wards... Needless to say we got rolled hard. I fucking hate queuing with my friend who has just started Dota 2. My solo queue games are sooooo much better in quality. You randomed, so you have extra gold. No reason to be complaining about no courier/wards. As much as 5 carry dota sucks, sometimes it's your individual responsibility to pick a support/last pick to ensure it doesn't happen. Hell, I played a game yesterday where I bought wards as CK right off the bat from regular starting gold, it's worth it to shut down the enemy from pulling/mid ganks/rune control.
Oh hi, you are the QQ thread guardian. Can tell me how to QQ better?

Played my first AR and I got Meepo and proceed to repick Gyro. Others got QoP, Brewmaster, Bane and Witch Doctor.
I assumed QoP mid, me bot with support and Brewmaster top with another support but Bane and WD insist on going top so I end up dual laning with Brewmaster and winning our lane vs another weird duo of Sniper/Juggernaut, although I end up with poor farm but same goes for everyone else on the lane. This doesn't matter since neither WD or Bane have any interest to support, we don't even get a courier with the bonus gold, zero wards during the entire game and WD builds a Dagon.
I didn't really take into consideration that AR will be full of people with zero intention to play support role when they random a support hero, I might have to reconsider playing this mode even though I was excited for it. Or maybe I just had a unlucky start with team mates.

It will just take awhile for these people who shouldnt play ar in the first place to uncheck ar in their search. So far most of my ar games are nice, ie people know how to tolerate and compensate for the team etc.
But then you'd have guessed that all my shitty ar games consist of these....players. Going Veno without skilling ward when we needed some pushing power or someone who repicked jakiro into naix and said he wanna go mid.
edit: sensored

Why do people even play Zeus? Is it so much fun to "Press-R-to-killsteal" all game? And the Hero is incredibly useless in the mid-late game.....

Cant QQ today. Went on an amazing 7-0 win streak yesterday. Had only 1 russian in my team all day. And the one i got was pretty decent, not understanding english, but well...
"Derogatory comments against people of various nationalities are not acceptable (2012/01/27)" What the... Where should i freely live my latent racism now that i cant anymore in the QQ thread? :-(

AR-Game...
Enemy Team has a Bloodseeker.
We got no truly good mid but there was nothing to worry about, I was Magnus so I could have gone, we had a Luna, a Zeus..... Several heroes that are ok AND actually profit from mid.. But no worries: Alche: "Me mid" No one was in the mood to argue so "ok"...
12 mins in... Alchi 0-3 or something with absolute 0 farm, Bloodseeker has Treads and a fucking Radiance.... If your obviously not able to play a halfway decent mid or at LEAST not feed the other mid.. Don't go fucking mid. I fail mid sometimes, but I don't fucking feed the other guy... The game looked really promising, if not for the BS. Toplane was close, we won bot....
On top of that we had a Whisp.. In AR... The last thing you want is someone that is not familiar with the Hero to play Whisp... I really wonder about the Winrate of Whisp in AR ^^.

Today I played a pub game where someone on the other team randomed axe... with 2 melees in the safe lane, him and drow could easily backlane the creeps with his double stout shield (inorite). So I think, "sounds easy, just call the team to gank him while he's way out of position, easy double kill". Only problem? Team ignored six minutes, SIX MINUTES, of screaming in the chat for someone to tp in. When someone finally comes, it's the phantom lancer, who promptly dies to him. Our visage top lane either didn't speak english or had selective blindness toward the bottom half of his monitor.

Dota2 is probably the first game that made me go raging really hard. I should consider quitting as this is probably not healthy to be pissed off all the time. There is always at least one person, who does not listen to the whole team and do completely random shit. When he is supposed to defend, he push, when he should push he goes farming. What the fuck is that. I am completely fine if someone apologize for being noob and listen to the team and try to do what is needed despite not having right items or skills, but at least he does try. I am noob myself, but i always listen to more experienced people if i see they know what they are doing.
Yesterday i had a game queing solo with 4 people. Two of them have a tag [101] and one of them writes: Guys be nice, it's my friend's first game. I am overall being good mannered so i say ok, just play careful and stay safe. They proceed to go dual-lane mid...well whatever as long as they don't feed like crazy. However after about 8 minutes into the game, the first-timer disconnects. I am asking his friend what's going on? And he answer that his friend had to go eat so he disced that it doesb't matter cause he would feed anyway. What a fucking logic is that? Why does he start a game if he has to leave in 8 minutes. Also he should go play at least 5-10 bot games so he understands the basics. And not messing up the whole game for other 4 people, maybe even our enemies.

Agreed. I've mostly had good AR experiences from the handful of games I've played. I'm prepared to play literally any hero at this point (although there are some I'm still not fond of). I've put five or six hours of training in on Invoker and the same on Meepo just to learn the mechanics so even if I random those "harder" ones I should be way better than people expect. So all in all its a great mode for me, and prevents deliberate 4-man carry and ridiculously strong group combinations.
I think my only "bad" experience was last night when I queued with a friend who is a better player than me and who was stacked with a few others (presumably higher level as well). Couple of those others started complaining immediately upon entering the game and finding it was All Random (because evidently they're those "higher level" types who only play like...three heroes). I rolled Venge, awesome since its one of my better heroes, rest of team was BS, DP, Omni and I can't remember the fifth. Ok, not the best lineup but could be worse...then BS (i.e. our one hero with the strongest case for being "carry") rerolls and gets Treant.
Didn't go well. I tried to farm up to be a semi-carry but it was tough to compete (other team had OD, Morph, Centaur, SD and Clinkz...).
Regardless though, still love AR for the most part. Gives me another to queue alongside SD and RD (I rarely queue CM and hardly ever AP).

I got him twice..
He wasn't in Dota one before i stopped playing him and i only saw him ~10 times actually ingame at that point... So I had no clue. I tried to heal my lanemate while being at 100% HP myself and all that stuff.... I didn't feed but "usefull" is something different.
Second game I somehow went Dominating, even while playing I knew "I won't be that lucky in a game of Dota for at least a year again." :p.

The hero is actually really strong in pub games since he hardly requires any farm and just kills shit everywhere all the time

Whenever I play I always choose random. I do this because I have gotten to the point where I feel comfortable enough with my game knowledge to be able to play most heros at least to the point where I am not feeding all game (though there are some games that I just completely suck). When I do choose random though there are a few things that go through my head right as I am pressing the 'random button', either "please please please no whisp" or "oh god no meepo or invoker". Its almost like russian roulette but with a gun with any more bullets. Either way I am thankful to say I have only gotten whisp once in random MM. never gotten Invoker and only gotten meepo once.
The other day I played a random MM game. Two of the teammates were russian and didn't speak any english at all. One of them was a Bloodseeker and decided he wanted to go dual lane mid with a zues, and then the other one I didn't even notice the entire game (i don't know if thats good or bad). That wasn't even the worst part though, there was a Bounty Hunter on my team that would literally sit right next to people while they were fighting a opponent and not attack the opponent or do anything until it was the last hit. He would get the kill and then move along to the next person. I finally got fed up with it and asked him why he was doing it. I didn't say anything rude at all cause I thought maybe he was new to the game. His response was "do you see my name? its the BOUNTY HUNTER" I had never seen anyone ever do anything like this. He would literally sit just out of range of the enemy and let his teammates do all the work then Track them and get the last hit.. Of course he went on a ultra kill because he was doing this all game. He thought he was the shit and had the ego of a fucking dwarf among midgets.
