Managed to squeeze in two games last night, both caused tears though the second one at least it was the opponents who were batshit awful so my team won. (We really shouldn't have though.)
First game we have centaur safelane, axe offlane, and puck mid. Not great at all, but hey, it's pubs, whatcha gonna do. I take lich support and then the last pick decides to go Weaver. Fine. Whatever. They can fight axe for farm for all I care. Except instead they go to the offlane jungle and stay there for 15 minutes while axe gets trashed in lane. No tp's. No rotations or ganks. And no farm. Ended the game with a wraith band and brown boots and 3k gold in the stash. Fucking trying to go radiance first item. Of course flames everyone else for losing lanes.
Second game I go cm support (because I'm always stuck on support) and my team gets an early lead but then promptly loses it in some disastrous teamfights that my teammates walk into one by one leading to us losing mid rax by 20 minutes. We take a decent trade outside the rosh pit after that but all that's left is me and our awful necro vs their jugg and medusa so they take rosh anyway.
And then the enemy team decides to farm their own jungle for 20 minutes. I manage to set up awesome wards because they establish zero map control, we pick off jugg and take the aegis, then kill him again, then kill the rest of their team. They had at least a 10k gold lead and aegis and mid rax and complete map control and they completely pissed it away to play a farming simulator on their side of the map.
I didn't even enjoy that win because while I may have played an amazing support (seriously my smoke ganks were on point) the win felt completely undeserved, and I just felt bad for their zues who had to put up with that awful team all game.

Can people learn to take objectives after getting a pickoff and when they just have the last remaining set of rax?
I mean what good is your 6 slot if you dont fucking use it to win the game

EDIT: Next game, Mirana 1st picked and called mid. Someone else clicked mid and picked AM and refuses to switch.

Just played a game. I was second pick sf, I wanted to play middle so I marked it. Our last guy decides he wants to play storm so he chooses it. I don't know what to do, so I be nice and give him mid so now I become a offlane sf. You can already see how great it is going. Im against a ls, bh, lane having a fancy time jungling lvl 2 sf trying to get souls. Our storm is at mid for the first 15 minutes skipping bottle rushing orchid. He finally finishes orchid then tries to rosh with our axe at 20 minutes. Works out great they both die to roshan. I feel the defeat screen coming closer. Then our storm decides to buy a bloodstone. He is about 3/8, I tell him to get a euls so he wont die. He tells me to calm down and trust him. He buys blood stone. Jumps across the map trying to kill a bh with GG boots. Dies, flames me for not being in the enemy team fountain. Then he is 4/13 with 3 charges and we somehow win the game. wew.

I should really stop playing Dota during the nights, people seem to be more prone to make one or more of their team mate feel bad, than anything else.

Another game lost to shadowblade Viper. My Spectre dies 14 times. My Razor jerks off top for almost 20 minutes barely joining any fights (even though we asked him repeatedly to come fight as 5). Nobody buys dust for shadowblade and glimmer cape. And enemy team has one of the 1% of 2k invokers who have some idea about how to play the hero. Just another day of my life.
also can icefrog delete blademail from the game plz

I don't get it. I understand that I'm horrible at this game. Badly used spells and especially wasting time doing not too much while not being sure if my carry is fine after getting a few kills against the offlaner.
But how... hoooooooow can you not understand what's happening when you're solo in a lane, 1-3 enemies walk right over a ward towards you, multiple members of your team tell you via pings and voice chat that a gank is coming? Really I love supporting. Hitting too many creeps really isn't for me but that's so frustrating.

man dont you love it when you queue into russians in int ranked then you get this higher mmr alch who sits in lane vs lina + undying with 200 hp left, then proceeds to farm the whole game with a FIRST ITEM shadow blade. i question why i play support sometimes

Holy fuck, so many morons in this game. Just played this dota game. I was safe lane Luna with free farm. My teammates were flaming the entire game that I was shit. They wanted to go rosh all the time even though all their heroes are alive and that its the worst fucking spot if they get the initiation. Both their mid and carry could easily kill me.
We kiled rosh after we wiped 4 of them, after the rosh they claimed "That wasn't so hard was it luna?". FOUR PEOPLE WERE DEAD. THE ROSHAN FIGHT TOOK OVER A FUCKING MINUTE. Are they this retarded? Do they really think it would go uncontested?
Fucking hell. Ez carry though.

Then I get a russian NP that goes 0-57. Yes, 0-57.
Whole team was great, enemy team was trash, took them 50 minutes to end that.
How can ANYONE deny forced 50% when shit like this happens?

i also enjoy having my legacy keys disappear because i restarted the game once, forcing me to play with shitty standard keys as invoker

last night one player is desperate mid, picks invoker. Gives up FB to OD and immediately disconnects. At this point OD is level 3 to invoker's level 1. Invoker comes back 4 minutes later, just before he gets the abandon. It takes another 50 minutes before the game finally ends. FUCK.

Dota crashes, big update, know the enemy team won't pause cause they wouldn't wait 2 seconds to immediately unpause after lag, going to log in to a loss and an abandon. Lovely start to the night.

play solo support against a clinkz, no one on my team buys any detection. we have a jungle midas rushing bloodseeker who takes every fucking bounty rune so i have 0 money. i get flamed for not having infinite dust and sentries

It's really nice to have a kotl on your team that just keeps recalling you as he runs around the map like an idiot including into the enemy team so you die. Thank god Valve realized how abilities like that can be abused against allies and can stop stuff like that /s
