Qualifiers for '2023 GSL Season 1' will be held for two days on Apr 10th(Mon) & Apr 11th(Tue)
Details are as below.
■ Participation requirements
- Must be at least 12 years old
- Need to have a SC2 Battle.net account (cannot use your family's or friends' accounts)
- Masters/Grandmaster league players (Any Region)
■ Qualifiers information
- GSL Qualifiers application period: ~ Apr 6th(Thu) 23:59 [KST]
- You only need to apply once to participate in both days of the qualifiers
- GSL Qualifiers: Apr 10th(Mon) & Apr 11th(Tue) [KST]
- GSL Qualifiers location: online
- Only players who are in Korea are available to participate in GSL Qualifiers.
- Match schedule for each individual will be sent out via MMS & e-mail to each participant on Apr 7th(Fri)
■ GSL Qualifiers match format
- Best of 3 / Double Elimination format
- Maps: 1Set Gresvan LE // 2Set Babylon LE // 3Set Royal Blood LE
- Participants who do not qualify on Day1(10th), can participate again on Day2(11th)
- If you do not show up to the 1st day of the Qualifiers without notice, you will be automatically disqualified from the 2nd day
- Participants who acquire prior approval may only participate in the 2nd day of the Qualifiers

Tecnically embassies are Part of the country.
Sl you only need to be in the lobby of your local Korean embassy to play.

Who will be casting alongside Tasteless?

we dont even know if Tasteless will cast this one. But given most of the tournament is online, with only the Ro4 and Final are offline, I wont be shocked if Artosis and Tasteless make a comeback.

why would tasteless not be casting? i havent heard any indicator otherwise... you expect him to unless he says hes not.

He did say on his stream, after Artosis made his announcement, that he wont be casting with anyone but Artorsis. Now, that was back in Oct (?) so he might just change his mind on that now.

With 6 slots left, I am leaning toward Ragnarok-Solar-Creator-Ryung, the last 2 slots should be up for grabbed, although I also would prefer Scarlett and Nightmare over the rest.

Good seeing over 20 good names playing in the qualifier, a bit sad that 1/3 of them won't be even playing the online portion of the tournament
BTW, who's the guy who beat Nightmare?

Classic beat Dark? I know it's just a qualifier, but between this, IEM, and the Wardi Korean Royale Classic is starting to look good. Wouldn't be shocked if he makes a deep run this season.

On the other Hand he completly botched the WTL qualifier games for his Team and is teamless right now because of it....

The old guards: Innovation, Classic and Stats survived while most of Zerg juggernauts: Ragnarok, Scarlett, and Soo didn't make it.
Glad to see Nightmare name there as he has been practicing a lot since these few years back.
