 MC's SpoTV webseries "Whyman" revealed that MC received his conscription letter from the Korean military, setting his enlistment date to February 25th. MC received his conscription letter before he qualified for GSL Code S, so it appears that he intends to compete regardless.

Nope, not 100% sure but you can't defer when you received conscription letter like his case. There is certain situations you can but not in MC's case. And he didn't know about conscription letter until recently. | ||

Actually, Korea has been very strict about making sure public personalities do their military service. There have even been cases where some individuals have been excessively punished simply for the sake of making an example. This isn't to say there isn't some string-pulling by the rich and powerful to get their progeny exemptions/easier posts, but it's virtually impossible to get an arbitrary exemption outside a few strictly defined channels (olympic medals, etc). | ||

They didn't make an exception for Polt playing at Blizzcon, they're not gonna make an exemption for MC after he drops out of Code S. | ||
