The translation, thanks to Hajinsun (#11) :
"Hello! It's been a while. I've already talked about it during my stream but I heard there are some fans wondering about me so I am writing it here! Honestly, it's been a while since I haven't played, and I think I need to retire officially. I wanted to write a long text but it might become a "bad souvenir from the past" so I will keep it short lol.
I think I played for 8-9years, there were hard moments but also good things that happened to me during my life as a gamer. I am bringing back with me an unique experience and precious memories!
Thank you to all the fans who have always been cheering for me and also SC2 fans. I honestly wish the best to my gamers fellas who are practicing hard. I won't play the season 3 qualifiers and I am retiring hehe I wanted to do better but it's a shame I wish also the best to all the people working in the gaming industry and all the fans who love the game T_T Thank you for all this time!"

Can someone make a better translation of his last sentence? It's a bit confusing...
GL HF Jjakji! Sad you never found your high again but kept trying anyway.
I guess it's military next?
<3.
I had always hoped he could make a comeback.
And with this the chapter of the forgotten GSL champions is closed

Where can I find the original statement?

Good luck in the future Jjakji, and thanks for everything you have provided for this community!

That's a nice closure, much better than just stop playing and make your fans wonder.

He and Dayshi will live happily ever after
Thank you Jjakji for your awesome games. I was always rooting for you when you played
Take care Jjakji, best of luck in your future endeavours.

Ah, this is sad. Sometimes he played really well, it's a pity he did not get a top tier player. GL JJAKJI

Best of luck in your future, jjakji.

I blame this retirement on the split WCS system and letting non-Koreans play in GSL. If a Korean fails to qualify for a season of GSL, they have no really meaningful games for months which could and should cause anyone to reevaluate their life.
Farewell jjakji. Sad to see such old school player retire.
I will miss him, but the GSL he won was one of the best finals I can remember. Can't be sad about that!

All the best to Jjakji. About the hardest to pronounce name in the business
During his best days he was absolutely one of the most intelligent players, always knowing when to push, when to retreat in the exact moment, how the split his army. Still his final Code S against Leenock was amazing, probably one of the first in WoL that was not one sided. Yeah, he was not able to do his long waited comeback, but unlike other forgotten champs like Sniper, Roro or Seed, jjajki really made some good matches in next SCII eras in order to keep his presence in the top major tournaments despite not reaching a big final anymore. Always will keep huge respect to jjajki! GG
Bye Jjakji I remember when he played some weird Thor build in TvP (against Mana in Iron Squid or else don't remember but god that was glorious)
GG jjakji, the unique GSL champ. Also he was the final remnant of former New Star Hoseo players so that makes me sad, they were one of the teams I really liked.
Thanks for the all the fun, Jjakji!
Thank you for always providing entertaining games, jjakji. I remember him as one of the first people to drop ghosts from medivacs in TvP in GSL, long before medivacs were able to boost. Since then, I've always been a fan. Wish him the best for the future!
best wishes! had some cool games on some cool maps and definitely influenced the meta
I'll never forget the finals against Leenock when he blew my mind with the most intelligent play I'd ever seen. He used a floating building to see where it couldn't land to detect baneling mines because he couldn't scan anymore. Pure genius.

That and the hidden base in game 1 was pretty cool.

This day had to come eventually... it still makes me very sad Thank you Jjakji for all the good times - it was a pleasure to follow your path.
I enjoyed watching him, sad to see him go, but I wish him all the best.
He was an elegant player and his GSL win was the first to show the true potential of SC2. The first truly great final.
God speed Jjakji!
i just want to say thanks for one of the best gsl finals, that was a beautiful display of sc2 in every aspect
Sad news
